This Love Shouldn't Be Legal

Melissa's POV:

"Mikey! What are you doing here?" He bent down on one knee. No way!

"Melissa Mailor, I love you and I have since I first saw you. I'm skipping all they mushy stuff, please marry me." I started crying.

"Yes Mikey! I ran into the street where Beth, Brooklyn, Cameron, Zach, and all our parent's were standing. The parent's were oddly close. "Mikey proposed and I said yes!"

"Oh my gosh!"

"That's amazing!" Everyone ran up to us and congratulated us. I saw Mikey give Cam a look and he nodded. He pulled Beth aside and kissed her. When she came back Brooklyn and I grabbed her.

"What'ld he say?"

"That even though we aren't engaged yet, he still loves me. He said one day we willl get married."

"That is so sweet."

"Yes it is. Now let's get back so us "crazy females" can gush over your amazing ring!"

"It's big, not as big as mine, but still pretty."

"Oh Brooklyn. You're crazy."

"But I'm Zach's crazy."

"How'ld I know you were going to say that?"

"Because I'm awesome."

"That must be it." We laughed and mom came over.

"I know your mother is watching you right now and is really happy."

"I know my mom is happy because I'm looking at her."

"Mellie?" She gave me a look to say this wasn't what she wanted me to say.

"I know what you mean. I hope she is happy."

"I know she is." Nancy hugged me and parents came down the line. I like being the center of attention, but this is a little much.

"Okay, Mikey and I have plans to make. See ya. Go to your apartment fast."

"As you wish." He sped there.

"Okay, all I know is we're getting married after tour, I get two bridesmaids, you get two or three groomsmen. Do you want your brother involved?"

"We haven't spoken since I moved away from home."

"That's why I'm asking."

"I guess not." That wasn't the answer I wanted him to say.

"Okay. But you do have to talk."

"Fine."

"Mikey."

"We will. I promise. Now, let's get you packed for tour."

"Isn't it a still a little ways away?"

"It comes faster than you think."

"Goody, I can't wait. Really, though. I wanna see you on tour, off stage."

"There's not much to see. I sleep and eat a lot."

"Oh, so it's not much different from when you're off tour."

"Ouch Mel."

"You know it's true." He wrapped me in a bear hug.

"Yes, it is. Mel, I'm glad we're getting married." This is the first time he really said that.

"So am I Mikey." He took me back home and I started packing. I was soon going on tour with my fiance and my best friends. I walked in and picked Megan up. She was tiny, but growing fast.

"You look adorable like that."

"Thanks Mikey. One day it'll be our own child."

"One day M&M." I forgot how much I missed being called that.

"Hold her." I handed Megan over.

"Are you sure?"

"As her big sister, I trust you." He took her and I leaned over his shoulder. He looked so sexy holding her.

"Well isn't this a pretty picture." I looked up and saw my parent's in the door.

"How long have you been there?"

"Since you picked her up. You two will make great parents."

"Hopefully we won't find out for a few years."

"When you do, it'll be the right time."

"Thanks mom."

"When are you getting a house?"

"Soon. We're gonna look after tour."

"Good plan. Is that when everthing is gonna happen?"

"We may do some planning on tour, but maybe not."

"We just want to enjoy being together right now."

"That's sweet."

"It's a lot of work to get married and start a family, but I have no doubt you two will succeed."

Thank you daddy." I ran and gave him a hug. Mikey put Megan down.

"Thank you Bob and Nancy. It's nice being accepted."

"Yes it is son, yes it is." Dad left and mom followed soon after.

"It's nice to know we have to trustworthy babysitters."

"Anytime mom." It was me and Mikey again.

"I love you, Mel."

"I love you, Mikey."
