The Alphabet Challenge

Alex heard Jack unlock the front door and bound into the house
“Alex!” he called “Come and look at what I bought!”

Alex walked into the lounge room to see Jack bouncing up and down on his toes and holding a strange looking package in his hand. Jack saw Alex and ran over to him
“Look!” he said and handed Alex the package
“What is it?”

“It’s a kite!” exclaimed Jack “Can we go to the park?”
“A kite?” said Alex
“Yes” said Jack “Now can we please go to the park?” he gave Alex puppy dog eyes
“Fine” Alex sighed “But you have to put it together first ok?”

“Yay!” said Jack, doing a little happy dance and ripping open the packaging before settling himself on the floor and proceeding to put it together.

A few days later and Jack had finally finished putting it together and he and Alex were on their way to the local park where Jack was going to attempt to fly it.

They got to the park and Alex sat down in front of a tree in the shade where he had a good view of Jack as he continued to try to fly his new toy for the next few hours.
