Lucy Jane Petropoulos lives in New York City with her young niece, Jadey. Along with juggling online college courses, her job at a local café, and Jadey's many extra-curricular activities, Lucy is trying to forget her past. That's not as easy a task as it may seem. When the man who broke her heart is in the world's spotlight, and isn't going to be leaving it for awhile, forgetting him becomes damn near impossible.
