Sixteen year old Adriana Lucumi-Rodriguez (which she prefers only the Lucumi part) goes to a top high school in the Upper East Side, Manhattan. Living with her mother and only two of her three brothers, Adriana has met her father only twice, but idolizes him. Who wouldn't want a father who gives his kids whatever they want? Then, after news nobody, not even Adriana's mother who can sense bad from a mile away, knew was coming, Adriana is deported (isn't she American?), along with some other relatives, and is new to the world known as Madrid, Spain, Europe. Soon she beguns accustomed to the move, but before she can relax and breathe, new drama kicks in.
