She entered the bedroom. He was reading Siddhartha and he looked up.
"I was wondering if you needed anything," she said.
He shook his head. "I'm fine."
She made to turn around and walk back into the kitchen where she would waste time, cleaning things that were already clean, but she stopped, faced him again. He continued to stare right at her and she strode over to him and kissed him on the lips.
"What was that for?" he breathed.
She stood up. "I thought you needed it."
"Ross?"
