We're Complete Opposites But I Still Love You

I walked up to Parker the next day.
I had to wear a jacket to cover the bandages.
I tapped his shoulder and he turned around and smiled at me.

"Was it you? Did you leave that note?"

His smile dropped into a frown.
He turned around and told his friends he'd see them later.
He turned back to me and pulled me into an empty hallway and we sat on the window sill.

"I left it. I wanted to warn you."
"But he didn't cheat."
"Yes he did. That's why you tried killing yourself isnt it?"

I gasped and on instinct I crossed my arms.

"How?"
"I know alot more than you think I do, hun."

He smiled at me.

"I did no such thing."

I said standing up.

"And he didn't cheat. He wouldn't do that to me."
"Believe what you want. I'll be here when you catch them."

I rolled my eyes and rushed away.
Would Jason do that?
No.
He said so himself yesterday.
But is he lying?
No....
I walked to my class and sat down.
All throughout class I couldnt concentrate.
I kept thinking to myself, What if Parker is right? What if Jason really is cheating?

I walked into the lunchroom and sat at my usual spot.
Jason walked up and sat by me.

"Did Parker talk to you?" He asked.

I looked at him.

"I talked to him first. I asked if he was the one who left the note. He was."

I said with no emotion whatsoever.

"I don't trust him, Teal."
"I know."
"Everything alright?"
"Yeah. Just...thinking."
"Alright."

And that was that.
We didn't say anything else the rest of the day.
It was sad really.
I was letting it get to me.
That never ends well.
It puts me in the damn hospital damn near dying.

I walked uo to my room and flopped down on my bed sighing.
I havent been able to concentrate all day.
I've been lost in my thoughts.
And since Jason had football practice I would be consumed in them until dinner.
Hopefully I would be able to control myself until then...
