We're Complete Opposites But I Still Love You

We told Sam.
He wasnt too happy.
He agreed to help anyways.
Jason quit football and got a job with Sam.
Jason and I were keeping it quiet until people could tell.

I'm a six weeks along now.

"Jason let's go! My Ultrasound is today!"
"I'm coming damn."

Jason walked down the stairs and took my hand once he got to the bottom.
I smiled at him and he kissed my cheek.

"Dad, we're leaving!"
"Good luck!"

Once we got on the road Jason took my hand.

"Excited?" He asked.
"So much."
I smiled and he smiled while looking at the road.

Once we got to the doctor's office we walked in and signed in.
Jason watched as toddlers ran around playing with other toddlers.
He was smiling which I thought was adorable.
We took a seat and just watched the kids.
We would have that in a few years.
Where would we be in a few years?
Fresh out of high school.
I would be doing online college.
Jason would probably still be working.
But who knows..

"Teal Cameron?"
A nurse said.

Jaosn and I both stood still holding hands and we followed her through a door into a long hallway and into a door on the left a few doors down.

"You can lye right here."

I lyed down on the bed.

"Lift your shirt for me, please."

I lifted my shirt and she warned me it would be cold.
I flinched a little at the cold bitterness as she squirted the gel on.
She turned the machine on and moved the monitor remote around my small baby bump.

"Since it's still so early in your development you won't be able to see much besides the head and body. But the head is right there."

She said pointing at the screen.
I smiled and Jason squeezed my hand.
Once we finished she wiped my stomach off.

"Would you like to get picture printed?"
"Yes, please."
"I'll be back in about ten minutes."

She left and I looked at a smiling Jason.

"I love you." He said.
"I love you too."

He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine.
The nurse came back in a few minutes later.
She handed us the pictures and we went to the front to pay.

Once we got home we showed Sam.
He smiled widely.

"I'm going to be a grandpa..."

I smiled.

"Awh, Sam. Is it just hitting you how old you are?"
"Oh shush."

We all laughed.

I was so happy about this baby.
I'm just sfraid of what people are going to say at school tomorrow....
