We're Complete Opposites But I Still Love You

Will You?

He pulled into the parking lot at the little cafe on the beach.
I smiled instantly and got out.
Jason took my hand as we walked inside.

"Good evening. Table for two?" The girl at the stand asked.
"Yes. Can we eat outside?"
"Yes you may. Wait right here. I'm going to see if there are any open tables."

We smiled at her and took a seat.
I looked at Jason.

"How did you know this was my favorite place?"
"I know a lot more than you think."

I smiled and shook my head.
A few seconds later the girl came back.

"Follow me you two."

She said grabbing two menus and two sets of silverware.
We sat down where we could see the beach perfectly along with the pier and sunset.
I always loved seeing the sunset.

After dinner we walked out onto the pier holding hands.
The wind ran through my hair whipping it up and down.
I smiled again at the feeling.
The salt smell in air.
The sounds of the waves rolling in and crashing onto the beach.
I loved it here.
Once we reached the end of the pier I leaned against the railing looking out at the ocean.
It was so big.
I tried to see if there were any boats that were really far out.
There were none.
I used to always do that as a kid.
There barely were any boats that far out.

"Teal."

I looked to my left at Jason.
He took my hands in his and I turned to him.

"You are so beautiful. We've been through so much together and not once I'd we give up on one another. Even through the bullshit and drama I still loved you. I know you felt the same otherwise we wouldn't be here. I love everything about you. I love how ou twirl your hair when you're bored or curious. I love how you're different. Your blue hair is what drew me in. Your gorgeous blue eyes. Your smile. Your adorable laugh. It pained me to see you cry. So Teal Ann Cameron."

He got down on one knee.
By now my heart was racing and my breathing hitched.

"I want to be there for you to wipe away the tears. To help raise our child. I want to be there to see how beautiful you look on your big day in that white dress. Will you make me the happiest man alive by marrying me?"

He took out a black velvet box and opene it revealing a gorgeous diamond ring.
It wasnt too big nor too small.
It wasnt too flashy nor too simple.
It was perfect.
I had happy tears sliding out.

"Yes. Yes I will."

I was smiling so much.
All I heard was clapping and cheers after he put the ring on me and we kissed.
I looked around us and saw a crowd.
We had made a scene.
I kissed him again and I felt him smile into the kiss.

"I love you so much." He said.
"You have no idea." I said back smiling.

A few minutes after the crowd died down we walked back to the car.
He helped me in and then got to the drover's side.
He started the car and we drove home.
I was all smiles the whole way.

Once we got home we walked in.
We were pretty early.
Sam walked in with Victoria.

"So?" He asked.

All I did was put my hand out.
Victoria gasped and ran to my hand looking at the ring.

"It's absolutely beautiful!" She squealed.

I was so happy.
Sam patted Jason on the back smiling.
Jason looked so proud.

"So where's my baby?" I asked.
"Sleeping upstairs. He wasnt at all that bad." Sam said.
"Awesome. So can my fiancé and I go to bed now?" I asked.

Jason laughed and walked toward me taking my had.

"I'm warning you, if you two end up with another kid you're on your own." Sam said.
"Sam, calm down. I don't want another for a long time."
"Good. Lets keep it that way."

I laughed and Jason and I walked up to our room.
I couldn't believe I was engaged.
I Teal Cameron was engaged to Jason Sands.
Teal Ann Cameron Sands.

Sounds good to me.
