Dreams Are Falling Short

I never intended to not finish this story and thus here is a brief outline of where I was going with this fic, as I know it’s always a very large pain to come across an unfinished piece.

Basically at the end of ‘Dreams Are Falling Short’, we would discover Corey’s true origins. If you hadn’t figured it out, Corey is one hell of a Malfoy – Draco’s twin in fact. (okay looking back at this, it’s so cheesy but I was like what 15? Shut up leave me alone) ANYWAY, we discover that Corey was removed from the Malfoy family upon Narcissa’s request, as no one knew she was having twins but her and Corey’s “Dad”. Mr Samuels took the newborn Corey and married a muggle to give Corey a good upbringing which Narcissa knew she could never give Draco. Corey, as is expect, is very through aback. Upon returning from the school year and getting off the train her and Fred have a moment where they hug and kiss without thinking about it and everyone is !!! it’s a good moment I thought about it a lot when I still loved writing this
The book which would’ve been The Half Blood Prince was to be called “Firmly off the Ground” as a homage the youtuber Bri’s song “Astronauts”, the lyrics being “Are you sick of all this change/ in a century that keeps feet so firmly off the ground?/ you can’t stand this place.” This book was obviously going to be heavily focused on change – things you don’t wanna deal with as you grow older or find out new things (in her case I guess holy firecrackers, she’s a Malfoy.)
Anyway, as Lucius now knows Corey is his daughter, she ends up a death eater, having to deal with the pressures of serving both Voldemort and being a friend to Harry. He forces her to move into the Malfoy home, and join Voldemort and such, what a good pappy. She’s a double insider, and her place is hard to keep. Her and Draco become close, as the task he has in the actual canon series they have to share in this fic. She is unable to tell the DA about what’s going on, as she needs to ensure the Deatheater plans see all the way through. I can’t remember if her being a death eater was a secret or not. (Side thought: wouldn’t it be cool if you could get like, a Hogwarts house transfer? Just a thought.) Clearly her and fred are gonna have some issues being lovebirds, as you know, she’s a deatheater and he’s trying to take down Voldemort and all that. But they work through the hardships. Beyond this I didn’t write many more notes, use your imagination or feel free to ask me to fill stuff in if you have any burning questions.
Deathly Hallows was to be “Memories of Dying Days”.
My notes seem to get less and less as I get to this point but basically what I got from this is that at the wedding, Corey talks to Fred and their conversation goes along the lines of:
Corey – “I know this past year hasn’t been easy, and I know I haven’t made it any better with my family and – just know you mean so much to me, and I cant keep pulling you through this mess with me.”
Fred - ????
And then the death eaters show up and shes all like hood up wand out, blend in with them and so basically this entire book would be her with the death eaters and trying to make everything slightly less shitty for them all up until the trio ends up at the Malfoy’s home. Here she ends up helping them escape and sticks from them from there on out
Fred doesn’t die im sorry I couldn’t let my small son die I love him too much – Corey saves him and has to kill her Samuels dad and its tragic and hardbreaking but they say I love you so its worth it.
They have four kids, Rory (who is 16 in the year later bit), hayden and Charlie (13, and yes twins cause like theyre both twins it would probably be a genetic thing idk. Also Charlie cause why does no one love Charlie more) and Brie (7). Cool theyre happy and she has sweet ink and still keeps in contact with draco and harry and everyone is good

Im sorry I never wrote this story to completion – I of all people wanted to see it finished, and I know it’s not enough to read these shitty notes. But hey it’s been two years can you blame a queer youth for this. This is the very least I could’ve given you and im sorry there isn’t more.
Seriously if you want to know more details hit me up and I’d be happy to talk to you, but lets be real – why would you spend your precious time doing that after this crappy summary (y)
