Me and Kye have been living together for 6 years.

He got full custody of Nosa and I got custody of Nile and Alex, even though Alex has moved out on her own.

Gem and TJ are married and live up the street.

Rose and Mani have been dating for 4 years and live across the street with their 2 year old little girl

Violent and Mace are engaged and live next door with their newborn girl

Mal lives around the corner with his wife, Toya.

Me and Kye live close to everyone because we still want to keep our family feel. Alex moved out and went to University of Chicago and graduate with a degree in business.

She lives in the house behind ours. Technially it is ours but we rent it out to her.

"In the room"

I heard her walk into the room and then the bathroom where I was getting dressed.

"Hey ma."

"Hey Alex."

"Dad said hurry up or we're leaving."

I rolled my eyes. Kye is always rushing some damn body.

"Ok. Leggo."

I grabbed my purse on the way out of the room and followed Alex to the garage.

We all got in the car.

"Kye you gon stop rushing me!"

He just gave me a big smile and kissed my cheek.

"Buckled in?"

"Yeeees"

I looked back at Nile and Nosa before nodding at Kye to pull off.

We were heading to our weekly family dinner with the crew.

We got to the restaurant and walked to our reserved table.
