Two Part Harmony

Ryan and I have been together for two years exactly, but I am scared that he is going to break up with me because I haven’t said ‘I love you’ yet. He said it to me a year ago and I am too scared to say it to him even though I truly do love him. I just feel like if I say it the feeling of saying it won’t mean anything anymore.
The doorbell rang and I was feeling nervous. I have been with him for two years and I still get nervous when we go out on a date. I open the door and he walks in with his guitar case. I was confused because I didn’t know he was going to perform for me. “Happy 2 year anniversary!” He gave me a peck on the
lips and handed me the case. I opened it and it was just a guitar.
“Am I supposed to perform for you?” I was extremely confused.
“No this is your gift.” He smiled his dorky smile. “It’s the guitar I was playing when we first met.”
“You’re giving it to me?”
“Look on the back,” his smile grew bigger. I turned over the guitar and engraved on the back it said Ryan and Jaelynn Forever in a nice cursive handwriting. Right then and there I believed that we would be together forever. I was now one hundred percent sure I loved him.
“I love you.”
