“Trust me you will be great. Everyone will love you.” He was encouraging me, but I still felt like I was going to throw up. I had a bad case of stage freight and I was about to face my fear for the first time.
“Would if my voice cracks or nobody likes me?” I gave him my puppy dog eyes, so he wouldn’t make me perform.
“Your only 15 years old people will understand and plus the people in this Coffee House don’t judge.” That statement made me feel better.
I went on stage and performed the song I was best at which was You and Me by Lifehouse. When I finished people stood up and applauded asking for an encore. I didn’t prepare one, so I just sang Chasing Cars the one song I play the most.
After a successful performance I jumped off the stage and hugged Ryan. Because of him I no longer had stage freight. I then kissed him because he was irresistible at the moment and that is when we became boyfriend and girlfriend.
