Two Part Harmony

“So Ryan have you bumped into any of your ex’s and how did they react to all your fame?” I heard the announcer on the TV ask Ryan as I walked into the apartment. Sarah reached for the remote to turn it off, but I stopped her because I was interested in what he had to say.

“I only have one ex and I did bump into her. She hates my guts and doesn’t care for the fame either, but I have a feeling deep down she still loves me.” I grabbed the remote out of Sarah’s hand and turned it off. I was furious that he said that I still had feelings for him on TV. Everyone knew I was his ex in this town and everybody was probably watching his interview. Even though I knew I did have feelings for him.

I went to my room grabbed the guitar that he gave me for our two year anniversary and smashed it to pieces. He was right I did hate his guts right now. I looked down at my smashed guitar and began to cry because I just ruined the greatest gift I have ever had.
