She Was Born Someone Else
This is for those you who have ever wondered about my username. For starters, it is pronounced "misery."
So how did I come about being Miz Erie? Well, it started with a contest in the fall of 2010. This contest was hosted by My Chemical Romance in anticipation of their (then) new album, Danger Days: the True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (released November 22, 2010 in the US). They asked the MCRmy to create their own "Killjoy" character, write the Killjoy's story, and design the Killjoy's costume for Halloween. The winner of the contest was to receive the "California 2019" Edition Box set of the new album.
Being the diehard fan of My Chemical Romance that I am, I naturally was excited about this contest, and I took to creating my own Killjoy persona immediately. As a person with little fashion sense, I never completed my Killjoy's costume. But I did successfully bring my own Killjoy to life through my writing.
