Facade

A girl has been murdered. Lying in her grave for over six months quietly rotting, and still her murderer has not been caught. It could be anyone.

Rachel has just moved to the village, trying to escape from her own troubled past. She has come to live with her estranged father whom she has never met before and her new life stretches before her. For the first time in a long while she feels hope. But dreams of a new life are quickly shattered, her presence in the village is going to cause a stir in more ways than one. Old relationships, rivalries, broken homes and sick secrets have been ready to re-surface for a while now.

Whilst trying to avoid getting caught up in the secrets and alliances that seem to plague the village, she finds herself caught between the main suspect and the girls brother, her family are hiding something (is her half brother the murderer? Her father?), and even her new friends seem to be closed off. What do they know?

In this village full of lies and betrayal, knowing there is no one she can turn to, she starts to drown.
