Inside the depths of our minds we find a dark, sinister other-self. This self, the one we call our darker side, controls and twists your mind, whispering into your thoughts, depraving your mind and consuming the light that strays too close.
The darker side writhes below our surface; we cannot deny its presence, yet we dare not acknowledge its control.
But what if we do acknowledge its presence? What if we welcome it as a sweet release from all our earthly worries? Would it make the darker side seem less dark?
Or would it make us turn completely from the light?

After a few days of being held in the hospital, Hitomi was released. During her stay, she had been accepted as a new member of the Leaf Village, and had received her headband prior to leaving the hospital.
