You'll Be My Worst Kept Secret And My Biggest Mistake

Round One Olivia Pete Zero

The to held hands and played around still just having fun as the got on the cart of the ride, Olivia wasn't in the mood to really say much as the ride started her mind was on the bet they made and if he'd make good on their kiss.

"You know I don't like heights, right?" Pete said as they started going up

"I wasn't sure if it was something you'd gotten over.." She said feeling bad now that she had him on the ride, "Why didn't you say something? I would have settled for a normal kiss."

"I didn't want to disappoint you, you looked so excited," he said, playing with her hand

"I was more excited over the fact that you wanted to kiss me." She told him smiling, "I just picked this ride because you pumped me full of to much food and I couldn't handle a spinning ride, and this is the best ride ever."

"Yeah, well, I always want to kiss you," he trailed off

"Then maybe you should do it now and when we're at the top you wont be thinking about it."

He nodded, his hand holding her chin a little as he kissed her softly. Olivia just let her hands drift in to his hair playing with it gently, she was enjoying the kiss she didn't want to rush it or make it out to be more then it was.

After a few minutes, he asked, "We at the top yet?"

"You're at the bottom." A guy opparating the ride told them, "We're waiting on you two love birds to get off." He was a little grouchy.

"It's over?" Pete asked, smiling

"Yeah now get off, so some one else can get on." HE was really just a mean old man, of course the place had been a bit busy for it being their last night.

"Okay, sorry," he muttered and followed Olivia

"Jezze that guy was rude." She said, looking at the other rides, "But hey we made it out alive."

"Nah, he was just doin' his job."

"He could have just let us go again or something," She grumbled the angeryteenage hormons coming out some times it was really easy to tell her age, "I mean his line wasn't even as long as some of these other ones." She pointed at other rides, "But what do we do next?"

"Olivia, it's fine. Honest," Pete said, "What about the little coaster?"

"Yeah ummm sure." She said looking at the coaster like it really could kill them as he started puilling her to it.

"It looks like fun huh?" He pecked her cheek.

Olivia didn't have an answer for him, she just stood there watching the people get on, and then get off the line for the coaster went quicker thens he'd have liked and soon the pair was seated she could hear the rumble of the ride the funny sounds a coaster makes she could hear it all so much in fact she kept waiting thinking she was going to have her own Final Destanation moment at any minute.

"These things they terrifie me, you know that?" She asked him finally not able to keep her fear to herself.

He grabbed her hand and grinned, playing screaming. He couldn't help but be a goof.

"It's not funny Pete, this thing could kill us." She really was worried something bad would happen, she didn't get why he was being that way, she didn't make fun of his fear.

"No, it won't. Don't be silly," he laughed

"If I die I'm coming back to haunt you, you'll be my unfinished busnies." She told him trying to smile but scowling, he wasn't taking her fear seriously like she had his.

"That'd be lots of fun," he laughed

"Oh? And just what would be so fun about having a teenage girl whom you couldn't touch huant you?" She asked him brow raised genuinly curious as to how that could be fun.

"You'd always be around to make feel at peace," he poked her

"No you wouldn't, you'd feel sorrow or some shit like that." She said giggling from when he'd poked her, enjoying the convorsation though she still held the bar of the coaster for dear life.

"That's what you think."

"Well why don't you enlighten me if I'm so wrong." She said looking at his face from a side glance.

"Well, it's just what you think. I doubt I would."

Olivia didn't have time to question him, they was starting up the big hill she knew it wouldn't be much longer and she'd be screaming bloody murder, she could feel here body starting to shake, and she was breathing hard and panicing..

Pete was just in hysterics, laughing so hard it hurt. Olivia just glared at him from the side she really didn't appriciate being laughed at and once they was down the hill and she wasn't screaming, she mumbled something about him being ana ass hole.

"Hey c'mon, it was fun."

"No Peter that wasn't fun in the slightest." She told him actually mad at him something she didn't think was possible, "I atleast distracted you from your fear while all you could do was laugh at me and mine."

"Awh, cmon, I didnt mean to," he pouted

"Yes you do, but its what ever, can we just get the fuck off?" She asked having not realized the guy was offering to let them ride again since no one was in line.

"Fine, alright," he muttered, getting off because she wanted.

Olivia didn't move, she thought him mad at her because she was scared and didn't like the ride, and she didn't want that her anger went a way the second she thought him to be mad at her.

"C'mon, let's go get cotton candy or somethin'," he shrugged, offering her his hand

She took his hand and slowly got out of the car, "You sure do like to eat," She commented though her fun mood was gone.

"It's fun though," Pete had a smile

"Yeah till you puke." Olivia pointed out finally giving him a smile as the passed one of them dart games where you have to bust the balloons, "But I could bust more then you," She said hoping he'd bet her something good.

"Could not!" He retorted like a child, grinning
"I so could, question is what should we bet?"

"Not another ride on the ferris wheel," he laughed

"And not on the coaster either so whats that leave?" She asked him curiously

"Hmm, a kiss!"

"I don't know is it really worth humiliation?"

"Hmm you're right, when I win, why'd I ever want to kiss you?"

"So if you win no kiss?" She poundered that a moment before smirking, "But if I win then we sneak under them there grandstands and have some fun?" She of course only meant kissing, and she only mentioned kissing because in her teenage mind it would be fun and something they shouldn't do, and she also didn't want anyone to question them if they saw.

He wiggled his eyebrows, "What type of fun?"

"You'll see soon enough."

Olivia told him that with confidence she had amazing aim and was sure she could win, what she wasn't aware of was the fact Pete intentionally threw the game he could have easly gotten more then her three balloons, but he wanted to see just what she meant, he knew he had more exsprince then her and was just curious as to how fare and what she meant by fun since they was in such a public place..

Once she won she didn't waste time for words just dragged him basically by the middle of his shirt till the where well hidden where she went to kiss him pressing her lips to his, she figured he'd exspect more but she didn't care she just wanted to kiss him, she had a small pout though when Pete pulled away..

Kissing her in short amounts, all over her face before finally settling on her lips properly as his hand rubbed her arm.A small shiver went through her at his touch, as she drug her toung accrossed the bottom of his lip, she was begging him for entrance her own hand starting to feel up under his shirt, she couldn't help it she liked how his skin felt on the soft of her hand.

He felt her shiver and a smirk widened on his face as he pulled her closer, Olivia was basically putty in his hands now as she allowed him to pull her closer.. Pete pulled away, his smirk still on his lips, "Havin fun?"

"Maybe." She said trying to play it cool, making it seem like having more exsprince wouldn't help. "Could be better."

"Could be better?" He asked, his face faking hurt.

"Yeah." She shrugged still trying to keep her act up though she wanted to laugh at the face he was making,"What are you going to do about it?"

"Hmm, well, I guess it could be better, I shouldn't do it anymore."

"No I think what you should do is do it more." She argued with him.

"Nah, I don't think so," he teased, letting her go

Olivia didn't like that and so she roughly pulled him to her putting her lips on his she liked his kisses and she'd take thema anyway she could get them even if that meant being a little rough, she might not have had exsprince buts he wanted him to keep kissing her she wasn't sure she wanted it to got any further then that though.

He was a little surprised, "Alright, guess you do like it, huh?" He chuckled against her lips

"Of course." She told him hoping he'd change it from the rough kisses to sweet and soft ones he'd given her the other night, for some reason them kisses seemed to make her just melt.

Since she started all the rough kisses, he kept them up.She wouldn't complain either way she liked the fact that his chapped and some what rough lips where on her softer ones, just the fact he wanted to kiss her made her feel happy and she smiled in to the kiss, before pulling away needing air.

"Well Peter, we can't all breath and kiss like you obviously can now can we?" She was being a smart ass, and hoping for more kisses, she said in a responce to him asking if something where wrong.

"You'll get used to it, I promise," he sang annoyingly, his hands on her hips.

"And what makes you so sure of that?" She asked breathing a little hard her face flushed from te kissing and of course the fact his hands where resting on her hips she could feel his thumbs moving in small circuls.

"Eh, I always have a good feelin' bout kissin'," he grinned

She didn't say anything for a couple moments lettng her composure catch and the blush that was on her face go down. "DoIKissGood?" She asked the question all rushed togather, till she asked she hadn't even realized she was worried she'd be bad at it..

"Could be better," he chuckled, pulling the line she used on him

"I think the park will be closing soon." She said almost as quick as she'd asked him about her kissing. What he said hurt her and she didn't want him to see it, Pete was the only person she'd ever kissed, and for him to say something like that well it made her selfesteem go real low she no longer wanted to kiss.

He was insensitive and didn't pick it up, "Yeah I think your right"

"I think you should go on and take me home to if you wouldn't mind." She faked a yawn.

"Okay," he shrugged, feeling like it was no big deal if they went home

Once they was in the car Olivia rested her head on the window and made she her hands where out of Petes reach. She was aware of the fact she was behaving childish, buts he was still a child, and her mind was running wild as she questioned are self:

Am I going to be a hump and dump, does he even really like me, whats really in it for him, why am I even going through with this? Things like that and more was running through her head, she was just so worried and confused at how they could go from having fun to him being a jerk.

"So I'll see you around?" He asked once he reached her house

"Yeah I guess." She said opening the door, "I had a fun time Mr.P." She was lying about it being fun the way she felt ruined that, but she made sure to call him a name she only used durring school hours. He waved goodbye before leaving, thinking she was acting weird.

Olivia sat for a long time on her porch out side of her house, thinking, not just of the night but of what her whole futer would hold that thought alone scared her because she knew what she wanted and she knew she wouldn't get it.

When she finally did make it to her room and to her bed she let her tears flow she wasn't crying over what Pete had said, no she was crying over the fact that she knew she loved him, her feelings for him where so strong and so deep she couldn't handle the thought of not being with him, but she didn't think she could do it.

That night whens he finally did drift of to sleep instead of having a dream that would usally wake her up in a cold sweat needing a cold shower, she had a nightmare but even that had Pete Wentz as the start. No matter whats he did he was always on her mind.

Mean while Peter was his usual self. He went out with his friends, drank and messed around. The thought of Olivia barely crossed his mind. When he got in bed on Sunday night, she finally did get into his mind. He wondered if she was upset or if he had done something, considering they hadn't talked as much as they usually would on a weekend. Maybe she had met someone her own age and they could't hang out anymore. He tossed and turned all night, waking up more tired than he was to begin with.

for Olivia her weekend dragged on and she stayed to herself in her room a lot, she felt even more depressed when she woke up Monday morining and realized it was the day she was going to have to tell Pete, they couldn't 'hang-out' anymore. She dreaded it as she did her normal routin before Meeting Alisha in the hallway.

She was a wreck you could tell she didn't dress to impress, and looked maybe a little hung over. Thoughts of Pete had consummed her she was pissed at him and though since he hadn't attempted at all to see why she hadn't gotten a hold of him that he just didn't care about her.

"Lish, if I get sick for a few of our classes would you cover for me?" She asked her friend though she just planned to go sit in the bathroom durring P.E and practice, she just didn't want to be bothered with being around him, she was chickening out on telling Pete off.

"Why?" Alisha asked, wiggling brows, "Meeting Mr Wentz in there?"

"No," She looked down, "Thats who's classes I'm avoiding, I just I cant look at him right now." Her voice cracked "I'm actually thinking of just ditching the whole school day." She said after a moment of thinking.

"Me? Why do you just assume it was me?" She asked hurt her friend would accuse her of such a thing .

"I don't know, I just know how you are sometimes," she said

Olivia sighed and told her friend everything from Thursday on, "He hasn't contacted me and I don't really want to see his face."

"And have you tried contacting him? You know it works two ways."

"No of course not," She looked at her friend, "I'm sure he's out having a good time with a woman his own age who is good at things I'm not, like kissing and sex, things he doesn't have to wait on." She said making sure she said he, so no one else around would know who they was talking about..

"Oh please, you and I both know he is basically fallen over you."

"I do not know that." She sighed, "What I do know is I'm in love with him, and I'm scared now after last night that I'm nothing more then a prize for him, a pretty highschool girl he can brag about to friends."

"Have you talked to him about it? I bet he didn't mean it. He seems super sweet."

"He was, till he took me on this date, it was so bad Lisha like seriously one minute he's this super nice guy, and then he's a douch, you really should have been on that roller coaster." After thinking over the whole date he seemed more douch then nice guy,

"Maybe I should ditch and you could talk to him for me?" Olivia asked, again she knew it was a thing a highschool girl would do but she didn't know any other way to find out how he truly felt.

"What? And have everyone find out by accident?"

"No stupid, like I'll forge a sick note and you can take it to his office or go talk to him about giving me some kind of written work for missing P.E right be for practice."

"Fine, fine," she sighed

"Thank you." She said leaving her friend and sneaking out the back hoping she didn't get caught

Her friend sighed, not knowing how they'd deal with this now, Olivia took one last look at Alisha before turning back to walk but she still wasn't paying attention as her brain was in over drive, when she heard his voice...

"Going somewhere?" Pete asked, sitting just outside the door

"Home." She gave a week fake cough, "I'm to sick to be here I only showed up to ask Alisha to get my work." She lied, not even looking at him as she spoke to him..

"Oh? What's wrong?"

"Not sure just don't feel well, could be the flue." She lied again, she was getting good at telling so many lies, "Shouldn't you be inside where the other teachers and students are?" She asked a bit of hurt in her voice where she'd seen him flirting with female teachers before.

"I ain't teaching it today. I'm meant to be in a meeting but I ain't going."

"And why are you playing hooky?" She asked him instantly hatingh herself for asking but she just felt so connected to him she couldn't help but ask him, she was blaming it on her hormons.

"Because I can. Why are you? We both know you can't afford to, especially with your grades."

She sighed him having caught her lie, "How many time Mr P, do I have to tell you, I don't care about my grades." She made sure to use the same tone she would have if they where in his class, "Just there are better more important things I could be doing at home." She told him not want to tell him she didn't want to be near him...

"Yeah right. You avoiding things you shouldn't. Or someone cracked into your bed."

She was so pissed off she wanted to slap him right then and there, "I'm avoiding you." She almost spat, "And aint no one but myself been in my bed, I'm sure you cant say the same." She said accusing him just as he had her.

"I don't know what your problem is. I don't even know what I did to you," Pete sighed, "All I know is you definitely are your age."

"Thats right Pete, I am seventeen, you need to deal with that, what you did was be an ass hole." She said not even trying to pretend they wasn't having a fight anymore.

"I wasn't an asshole!" He exclaimed, "How? You were just the same!"

"Yes an ass hole, or maybe you'd prefer insinsitive jerk." She all but shouted at him, and if you cant figure out what you did wrong, maybe teaching isn't a good job for you."

"Yeah! And you act just like you are now, a self prioritizing obnoxious girl! When you're done calling me names like a child, see me!"

"Well now the truth is out, I knew you always just thought I was some silly girl, you obviously never cared about me Pete." She was hurting, "I wont come see you Pete, ever again, you'll never see me after today." She didn't mean it of course but she wanted him to her as bad as she was.

"Yeah right. See you in class," he laughed

"Yeah, about that, sorry all for ya, but I'm droping your class and quiting the team so no you wont be seeing me." Again it was a lie, but he didn't need to know that not yet any how.

"I don't care. You're just another kid," he said, deciding to be mean too

Olivia couldn't believe after all the promises he'd made Friday night that she wasn't just a kid to him he's said that to her, she was already crying as she spoke.

"You know maybe I'll go back inside the school and talk to the Vice Princable." She knew the head one was out sick, "Let them know just what kind of teacher they hired," She wouldn't do that of course but it felt nice to say.

And remember to say how you came onto me," he snickered before walking off

For a split second Olivia thought about really doing it, she could easly lie about the her coming on to him thing. But she didn't she just sat down on the cold wet ground and let her tears mix with the rain she couldn't force herself to move,

Her friend soon found her after looking, "What's wrong, Liv?" She asked, rubbing her back

"Pete Wentz is whats wrong." She tried saying but ended up more like sobbing as she attempted to tell her friend what had happened, it also dawned on her he went a head and went to class even though he said he wasn't going.

"Do I need to throw a ball at his head in class by accident?"

"Or his balls, yeah go with that one." She said the sobbing finally stoping as she wipped at her eyes, "I told him I was going to turn him in and I was sort of serious."

"And what did he say?"

"Make sure they know I came on to him first." She said a sadness in her voice now her throat hoars from cryig, "I don't get how we even got to this point really.."

"I don't know. Have you tried talking without accusing him?"

"I didn't accuse him of anything." She sighed, "I simply stated the truth about how he behaved, I mean yeh I accused him eventually but not to after he basically said I was a whore." She shook her head, "I think maybe this is what is best." Of course she didn't really think that.

"I'm going to talk to him for you or I'll never hear the end of this."

"Oh and just what do you plan on saying to him?" She asked, "I'm sure if you try talking to him now it will just keep him remind of how much of a child I am, and it doesn't matter honestly Lisha I'm nothing more then a kid to him." She said sighing, "He said he was skipping so if you hurry you might catch him, I'll be hving a drink."

"I'll fix it, just wait and see!"

"You know where to find me when you're done." She said not believing her friend was going to try talking to him.

Alish decided to go and hunt Pete down, it wasn't that hard he was in his office Pete just looked at her exspectantly, "I don't have you for another three periods what do you want?"

"I just came to talk to you. Can't I do that?" She asked innocently

"And what is it you want to talk about?" Pete asked her, obviously not in a very good mood

"What'd you do to Liv? She's so upset."

"I didn't do anything to your little friend." He really didn't have a clue what he'd have said or done that made her think he was an asshole, "But I really don't have time if your little friend is what you want to talk about, a kid in my class upset isn't really my concern." Pete said trying to stay profesional but letting her go on.

"Yeah right, you and I both know she's already more than that to you."

"Look Alisha, Olivia is a student of mine one I tried to befriend and help with her work but she obviously doesn't want that." Pete said still being carful of what e said Olivia's threat to turn him in still on his mind.

"And like I said i didn't do anything to her so I don't know what her deal is and neither do I have time to care." He was still being mean

"Right a friend where you make out underneath a seat of bleachers?"

"Look Alisha I have students to teach and you need to get to class, this is something we can discuss, after shcool is over." Pete said sending her out of his office worried the girl was going to some how help get him turned in, while Olivia wasn't turning anyone in she was getting smashed at the bar.

"What are you doing here?" She asked a bit slurred when she saw Alisha walk in to the bar. "You should be at school."
"Exactly same reason you aren't. Dealing with him."

"I hate him," She said a slight hicuppy giggly coming from her as she offered to buy Alisha a drink.

"No, I'm not going to drink and you're coming back."
Olivia of course was so blitz she didn't really understand what her friend was doing or saying even whens he mentioned Pete and how she was going to show PEte just what he'd done to Olivia, who only seemed to giggle and be loud even when they was inside the school. Finally Alisha was able to make Olivia understand she was going to prove something to Pete.
"What are you going to prove that couldn't wait till I was oer?" She asked really slurring as she tried to keep up with her friends fast pace.

"Just don't act stupid, okay?"

"You're stupid." Olivia replied with a laugh

She sighed when they got to the office after classes, "Look what you did!" She exclaimed to him

"I didn't do anything." He had yet to notice Olivia, "Didn't I say after school?"

"You caused her to go get drunk. Is it not obvious she's in love with you!"

"Alisha I didn't make Olivia go and do anything I didn't tell her to go to a bar, and I didn't take her to one, she did this herself." Pete was talking and acting like an adult, "She had a tempertantrum, and called me names, I told her to come see me when she was done calling me names instead she turned to booz."

Pete knew by the look on Olivia's face she was getting ready to blow chucnks, so he handed Alisha a trash can,"How long has she been drinking for?" HE asked knowing Olivia could handle herself when it came to drinking .. Pete didn't give her a chance to answer he just get talking while Olivia puked more,

"Take her to the bathroom, then come back to me." He sighed, deep down Pete did care for her, he didn't think it was love, but he couldn't let her be that misseable, "Make sure to say something like I found her and she has a fever, make her look sick."

Alisha nodded doing as he'd said when she found him in the hall looking like he was heading for his class, "Are you sure you can handle her?" Alisha asked him when no one was around.

"Yes I'm going to just give her a ride home." Pete said before writing his number down and handing it to her, "Call her later and check on her if you want." He of course meant him, "I'm sorry your friend is sick." He was making it look good.

"It's okay. She's in good hands," she nodded

Olivia woke up a few hours later freaking out, it took her a moment to figure out where she was, as soon as she did she let a groan escape which caused her head to pound, next was her cloths she wasn't in the same ones she'd put on when she left her house, she was a bit freaked since the cloths was his, but after an assesment she figured she was fine since her head and throat seemed to be the only things to really hurt.

"Looks who is awake," Pete laughed

"Why am I here? What time is it?" She asked resiting the urge to flip him off, "Why am I in your cloths?" She also made sure not to see if they smelled like him.

"It's 8 at night and you got a little too drunk at school," Pete said, "And I couldn't let you just go home like that. You puked everywhere all over yourself so Alisha changed you."

"Alisha was here at your house?" she asked suprised her friend was going through all this trouble to take care of her and what ever she had with Pete. "Why couldn't you let me go home, my parents have seen me a lot worse off I'm sure." sighed

"Because Alisha told me that your folks would have killed you."

"They would have, its a school night, I'm not suppoused to drink on school nights." She sighed, "But their also going to wonder why I'm not home." She shook her head, "But that doesn't exsplain why you didn't just let me go to Alisha's or something, why bring me here, why care for me at all?" She asked not mad any more just hurt at the words from earlier that morining and on their date.

"Because maybe I was a little bit of a jerk, and I'm sorry."

"Its okay I might have been a little mean to." She sighed trying to do the right thing, "Do you maybe want to talk about it?" She asked him wanting to know where they where going.

Pete nodded and sat on the end of the bed, Olivia then procceded to tell him how she felt and what was upsetting her and how she came to the conclusion he was an ass hole. She also mentioned to him how she was worried about them hanging out, and that she though he only wanted to be near her in that kind of way because she was still a virgin.

"I don't care you're a virgin or not, I still like you," Pete said softly

"Then why did you make such a comment like you did huh?" She asked him another question already lurking in the back of her mind, not sure she believed him.

"Because you just blew up on me and I didn't know what I did."

"I'm talking about what you said about my kissing." She sighed, "Thats why I blew up on you, you took me on a date and then half way througth it you started getting all douch baggy and made me feel like I wasn't good enough."

"I didn't mean it, it was just a joke."

"It wasn't a very good joke Pete, it was insensitive." she told him before trying to get comfy in his bed "So umm just what is all this hanging out leading to?" She finally asked him, "I like you and you like me, and obviously I like all the fun we've been having." She thought over what she'd say a moment.

"And you say you like me, but I don't want to just be one of them girls that fall for a guy, and they just 'hang out' all the time and nothing else ever happens till after sex and then I don't ever see you again." She said trying to be adult as she possibly could though her insecurities where showing, as she hoped they'd be more then just hanging out.

"Well what do you want to do? Do you want to date?" Pete asked, watching her carefully with a small smile on his lips.

"It isn't just about me Pete," She sighed, "Do you want to date me? Can you handle my childishness, and everything that comes with a seventeen year old girl? My good days and my bad ones?"

"Yeah, if you can handle me sometimes being insensitive."

"Of course I can but I'm going to over react and be pissy about it."

"Alright then, so we agree?" PEte asked
