It's the year 1956, full of sock hops and rock and roll. Charlotte Wright has a dream to be an actress in big movies with Marilyn Monroe and James Dean. At sixteen, her dreams are big. At the time, Charles Haas, one of the biggest film directors of the decade, puts an article in the newspapers about needing young actresses. Charlotte jumps at the chance, and gets a shot at being a big time movie star. Spun into the the world of film making and script lines, she gets to be in an upcoming movie..With Marilyn Monroe! Then, she meets Leo Baker, a boy on the street who's looking for a home. Charlotte faces some tough decisions on her upcoming career and her newfound relationship...Will she make it?
