Two Worlds

I woke up the smell of food being cooked and i immediately opened my eyes. The food smelled wonderful and I wonder who was cooking. I got up from the bed and went over to a dresser and seen myself in the mirror. My damn hair was all over the place. I looked around the room for my bag and I just couldn't find it. I opened another door and it was a closet. I seen my bag in the floor and all my clothes were hung up. I guess Matt did that for me while I was asleep. I grabbed a pair of my checkered black and red jeans and a t-shirt that had a skull on it that said 'Tattoo your body, tattoo your soul' and it had to be my favorite shirt that I own. I left the closet open and went over to another door that I figured was another closet or something but it was a bathroom. I stepped inside the bathroom closing the door behind me and locking it as well. I set my clothes down on the sink counter and opened a drawer and took out 2 towels and a wash cloth. I turned on the water letting it warm up and i stripped off all my clothes. I looked down at my arms and there was still bruises there from when I was left in my mom's room and that monster took advantage of me. I still don't understand why a parent would do that to their child.

I stepped into the shower and began to bathe. When I was finished I grabbed a towel and wrapped one around my head for my hair and started drying off with the other. I grabbed my clothes and put them on feeling better than ever. I couldn't help but smile at myself in the mirror. I took the towel off my head and laid them both on the side of the tub. I exited the bathroom with my dirty clothes and found a laundry basket and put those clothes down in it. I grabbed some socks from the dresser and put them on before sliding on my converse. I quietly left my room and I could hear all kinds of loud snores. I swear I don't see how I got any sleep with all this noise. I went down the stairs following the scent of food until I came to the kitchen where I had met the others. When I enter the kitchen a woman stood there with long brown and blonde hair with really tight jeans and some kind of shirt on.

"Who are you?" I asked cautiously. She turned around and smiled at me.

"My name is Val Sanders. You must be Jade."

"That I am. So what smells so good in here?" I said approaching her.

"I'm making some eggs, pancakes, sausage, and bacon."

"I hope it tastes as good as it smells, no offense." I said watching her cook.

"None taken. Do you want to help me?"

"Sure." I said nodding.

"The top cabinet right here. Can you get 7 plates out and set them on the table please along with silverware?"

"Sure." I said nodding and opening the cabinet that she had tapped. I grabbed 7 plates and placed them on the table along with some silverware and Val put everything either in a separate bowl or on a large serving plate.

"What kind of juice do you like?"

"What kind do you have?" I asked putting down napkins.

"I have grape, apple, pineapple, and orange."

"I'll take a Zombie." I said putting down the last napkin.

"A Zombie?"

"Yeah. That's where you mix all 4 together." I said nodding.

"Okay. Go wake the others for me please." I nodded and ran upstairs and knocked on a door but no one answered. I timidly opened the door and seen Matt still asleep. I walked over to his bedside tapping on his shoulder.

"Matt?" I whispered but he kept on snoring.

"Matt?" I said a little louder and again he didn't move.

"Matt!" I yelled into his ear and he just rolled over. I shook my head and growled before rolling him the rest of the way off the bed. A loud thud was heard before he looked up over the bed at me.

"What did you do that for?"

"I called your name 3 times but you wouldn't wake up. Val told me to come and tell you that breakfast is ready." I said leaving his room.

"Thanks!" he yawned as I closed the door and went to the next one. I opened this door and let it hit the wall on the other side. Jimmy looked up at me.

"Val said breakfast is ready." I said and left that room before he could answer. I went to another door and there wasn't any snoring so I knocked.

"Yeah?"

"Val says breakfast is ready." I said and the door flung open and Zacy stood there. I couldn't help but stare at his awesome bod. His tattoos were mesmerizing.

"Tell her I'll be down in a minute." I nodded and went to the next 2 doors which were Brian's and Johnny's. I knocked on the both as hard as I could and I heard both of them fall out of their beds.

"What's going on?" It was Brian.

"Breakfast is ready. Now get down stairs." I said and I heard the sound of ruffling clothing as I walked away. I went back into the kitchen and sat down where everyone else was eating. I grabbed me a few eggs and some sausage and started eating. I watched carefully as these guys began to devour their food and Val gave me a friendly shrug but I just shook my head. I don't see how that much food can be ingested by only 5 guys. They eat way more than Val and I do.

"Oh Val that was the best breakfast yet." Matt said leaning back in his chair and rubbing his stomach.

"I'm glad you all liked it. Are any of you going to help me clean all this up?" Everyone went silent and she rolled her eyes.

"I'll help Val." I said grabbing my plate and getting the others as well. I set them down into the sink for her and grabbed my glass for another concoction called a Zombie. I got out the grape juice first and poured some in there and then the apple, pineapple, and finally the orange juice. I swished it lightly around in the glass before turning around to see the guys faces.

"What?" I asked taking a drink.

"You seriously didn't mix all that together."

"You watched me pour it into the glass didn't you?" I asked Johnny.

"Well yeah."

"Then yes I did mix all of them together." I said drinking the whole glass down.

"How do you drink all that together without being sick?"

"It's easy. It tastes good." I said smiling and putting my glass in the sink.

"Cool! She's as weird as me! Now I know we'll get along well." Jimmy came over and picked me straight off the ground and hugged me tightly.

"Jimmy put her down! Her food hasn't settled yet!" Val said sternly and Jimmy put me back on my feet. He ruffled my hair a little before leaving the kitchen with the others. I shook my head and went over to the sink and helped Val wash off the dishes and dry them and put them back into the cabinet where they go. In no time we had everything cleaned and Matt came into the kitchen dressed.

"We'll see you girls later." Matt said kissing Val sweetly before giving me a hug and a kiss on the forehead and leaving the house. I heard all the cars start up and race down the road in seconds.

"So what's your plan for today?" I asked as I sat down at the bar.

"I was about to ask you if you would like to go shopping for your room with a few friends of mine."

"Sure. I ain't got anything else to do." I said smiling.

"Good. I called the girls this morning and they should be over anytime now. I'm going to get ready and you just let them in okay." I nodded and she left the room. I propped myself against the counter and looked back at the scars that my mom and dad had put on me with the needles. I know they should have disappeared by now but they just won't go away. A knock came to the door pulling me away from my thoughts. I went over to the door opening it to reveal 3 women.

"Who are you?" the girl with black and red hair said.

"Oh I'm Jade." I said smiling.

"Oh so you're Jade! We hear so much about you."

"That's good. Come on in Val is upstairs getting ready." I said stepping aside. All the girls came in and I shut the door leading them into the kitchen.

"My name is Lacey and this is Jimmy's girl Leana and Zacky's girl Gena."

"It's very nice to meet you all." I said hugging them.

"It's great to finally meet you! Matt has told all the guys about you which in return they tell us."

"I hope it was all good." I said shrugging.

"Oh don't worry it is. They would never talk bad about someone unless it was someone who stabs one of their members in the back. Not litterally speaking."

"I know." I said nodding. I heard Val exit her room and come down to the kitchen all dressed and ready to go.

"I see you've met the girls."

"Yes and they all seem very nice." I said smiling.

"How about we get going so we can get our shop on!"

"Yeah let's get out of here." Leana said grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the house. Val just shook her head and laughed. I got into the back of the large SUV with Lacey, Leana, and Gena while Val was our driver. When we got to the mall, I swear the girls were picking out all kinds of clothes that they liked as well as some for me. They had really great taste in clothing and also shoes. I got some new converse since mine was wearing out, a few shirts, pants, shorts, socks, more under clothes, and a few things to make my new room mine. Val told me if I ever got tired of the paint job in my room that she would have the guys paint it any color that I wanted. I think I might change it one day but not real soon. They've already bought me over 200 dollars in bedding, clothing, shoes, and stuff just for my room and I wasn't going to ask for anything else soon. I was really hesitant anyways in Val buying so many things for me anyways and I really couldn't ask her for anything else.

The rest of the day we spent in the mall just looking and Val bought her some new swim suits which she talked me into letting her buy me as well. Overall this had to the best day I've ever had in my entire life. I don't think I could ask for a more perfect day. I have some new friends and we all get along very well.
