I had kindove zoned out. I kept no track of where we were going and when we stopped the car I shot back into reality. Mike got out of the car quickly and opened the back door to get the basket. I shot out of the door and walked next to mike. I slid my hand into his.
I heard waves crashing. We were at a beach. Mike and I walked until we got to the sand and were about 20 feet away from the water. Mike opened the basket and pulled out a blanket. He spread it out and we both laid there, talking more, and of course kissing.
"what else is in that basket?" I asked, actually interested to know.
He smiled and reached for the basket. He pulled out gummy bears and whiskey.
"interesting combination," I giggled.
"well now I've got my 3 favorite things here," he looked up at me.
I bit my lip. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect moment. Mike opened the bottle and took a swig. He handed it to my. I took a huge gulp, handed it back to him, and tore open the gummy bears.
