Strip Malls For Whiskey
Should I tell him? should I say it? This moment was just so perfect, was I going to ruin it or make it that much better?
Both of us had our arms wrapped around each other. Mike leaned down and kissed my neck. I could feel a few bites. It felt good coming from Mike. I pulled him closer, biting his ear.
"I love you."
I felt surprise as the words were uttered. From Mike's mouth. I didn’t respond for a second. He looked up at me. I felt tears of joy in my eyes.
"I love you, too."

After everything at the beach it was only midnight. Mike and I got dressed. I combed through my wet hair with my fingers and helped Mike pack up the blankets.
We threw the basket into the backseat. Instead of driving away Mike and I decided to walk down a small strip mall nearby, holding hands. We first walked into a little grocery store and bought another bottle of whiskey. The second Mike paid I opened it and we walked out of the store.
