Yeah Boy and Doll Face

Oh god, he was so perfect.
He had already chosen a table outside of the café. It had a little umbrella on top of it, but it just made the scene a little more picturesque. He took a few seconds to turn and talk to the waitress. I took a second to pull out my phone and take a picture of the scene.
Okay, I'm not a stalker.
I quickly tucked my phone away and approached the table. I sat down as gracefully as I could.
"hi," I squeaked.
"hey."
Just then the waitress came back with two coffees and two blueberry muffins.
"you already ordered?" I asked with a smile.
"ya… is that okay?"
"oh, its perfect. I love muffins"
Okay, awkward silence.
"so what are you doing in San Diego?"
"well while we're off from touring for a little I wanted to see my home town."
That makes sense.
For the rest of the date we just… talked. It was a deep conversation. We learned about each other. It wasn’t awkward anymore, as we slowly opened up to each other.
We understood each other. Which is exactly why I invited him back to my place.
