Airport

People are always either coming or going at airports, but I've noticed how no one ever just stays. They weren't designed to keep people around long, what with their tacky gift shops and their uncomfortable seating and mediocre food. They're meant for quick stops between places, just welcoming enough that they practically scream sit-down-and-have-a-drink-but-don't-put-your-feet-on-our-coffee-table-you-barbarian. I think maybe someone ought to show them what we think of that, a previously decided notion that we have no say in. Maybe I want to mosey around your tacky gift shops and maybe I want to lay across your uncomfortable seating and maybe I want to scarf down your mediocre food. What are you gonna do to stop me?
