The Redcoats were part of the British army far away from where we lived. They caused treacherous forms of torture, misery, and death and spread across the land like wildfire. If you were spotted astray from their land, they would do vile and unforgivable things to you, your family, and anyone who stood in their way; no matter the age. Babies, children, elders, women- nobody was safe.
