Belinda Hawthorne has led a relatively average fifteen years and nine months of life thus far, complete with two adoring parents, an above-average IQ for people in her age group, and seemingly nothing to do with all of the free time that she has except for whatever she feels like doing.
It is at this moment in her life, when she discovers that she is not an only child, as her parents have led her to believe for fifteen years and nine months; in fact, she has an older brother, who happens to be the lovechild of some air-headed affair that her father engaged in prior to Belinda's birth.
Not only that, but since the boy's mother has had a nervous breakdown, he is coming to live with Belinda and her parents. And Belinda believes that this is the end of the changes to her life.
Next thing she knows, her newly-discovered half-brother's pregnant girlfriend is moving in with the family and adding to the hectic mess that is now Belinda Hawthorne's previously perfect life.
Growing into herself is going to be much more challenging than she thought possible.
