Eggshells

To be in a relationship with Lucy Rey was harder than getting a cat and a mouse to be the best of friends. She had as much self-esteem as a rock and had a tongue as sharp as her mind. She daydreamed about being beautiful, blind to her own beauty, more than anything else, mentally weaving her life into fairy tales where everyone did what the could because life was good for them. She was always dazed and distracted, which caused most of her friends to slowly drift from her as they got older, or maybe it was that they tried staying close, but she pushed them away.
