The Political Assistant

In her fifth year of college, Mackenzie is studying to become a nurse, but is determined not to take out any student loans to pay for it. Hard times are falling on her and her father, who already works two jobs to pay off all the debts his wife left when she died two years ago. Mackenzie needs to find a job or drop out of college, but she's hard-pressed to find one in the unforgiving, jobless economy. But when her father tells her of a job she has a shot at-being a politician's assistant-she's not too eagar to take him up on it. But when she realizes she can either suck up her pride and try to get the job, or give up her dream of nursing, well, let's just say she's not too thrilled to be a political assistant...
