Transformation of a Raven

A week has gone by.

Since she bonded to Jake.

Since she met Klaus.

Since she scented Austin.

The sweet smell wafted to her like a freshly baked loaf of bread wafted to a starving beggar.

His blood sang to her, making her very body thrum.

She would catch herself staring at him throughout classes.

When Raven attended the next football game, she almost snapped when she saw the Brunette kissing her mate again.

Damon was always there to ground her when her instincts broke through.

"Calm down my sweet," Damon would say.

That night back at her house she waited as Jake was finishing up in the shower and Damon was on the phone with Alaric.

She couldn't stand the silence so she began to meditate.

Never having meditated before, Raven didn't know what to expect.

When she closed her eyes she saw a vast green landscape.

Standing up she walked over the lush green hills until she came to a forest.

The seasons must have changed during her meditation because the leaves of the birch trees were an amber yellow with flecks of orange.

Stepping into the forest the leaves crunched beneath her bear feet.

Raven came to a halt in front of a huge oak tree.

It must have been ten people around and as tall as a skyscraper.

What was eerie though was that there was a huge crow.

Not like one of those scrawny ones you see on the side of the road.

This crow was as big as an eagle.

Letting out a caw, the huge crow took flight and flew towards Raven.

She didn't have time to run when it flew straight into her.

The weird thing was though, it didn't impact.

Looking around frantically, Raven did nit see the crow anywhere.

Suddenly she was pulled out of her mind scape by someone touching her.

Letting out a squawk she flew.

Wait, She flew?

Looking at her body from where she was perched on the rafters, she saw that she was The Huge Crow.

Her Feathers were as dark as night and her talons were razor sharp.

Letting out a crow she flew down on to Jake's shirt clad shoulder.

"Nice crow, good crow," Jake said lifting his hand to touch the head of the big crow.

Cooing as Jake ran his fingers through her feathers, Raven leaned into the touch.

"Where did Raven go?" Damon asked as he stepped into the room.

"I don't know, but there's this huge crow instead," Jake said turning to face Damon.

Damon turned and looked at the crow in questioned.

He noticed the crow had striking blue eyes only they were darker then his.

"Jake, I want you to put the crow down and leave for a moment," Damon spoke softly.

Jake obliged and soon left to grab his homework from his car.

Damon looked at the crow and then in a flash there were two crows only the new one was a bit smaller.

'Well Raven it looks like I'm gonna have to teach you how to fly soon,' Damon said to the bigger crow.

'Wait Damon, How do I change back?' SHe asked.

'Go back to your mind scape and look for your tree and will the crow back into the tree,' He said as he transformed back into his Human form.

Raven did as she was told and she felt herself changing back.

"Looks like we have another thing to master," Damon said smirking.
