Alanna Haner has the job of a lifetime: the head journalist at AP magazine, a huge condo, a convertible, and tons of friends. She gets to meet bands all the time. What could be better? Her boss on day decides to randomly send her to be the guitar tech for A7X, a band that she considers a sellout or overplayed. She used to like them back when the first came out, but not anymore. She's heard that this band is cocky and loves to party. When she meets the band, she discovers that Syn, Zacky, and the Rev are all out to get her, while Matt and Johnny are nice to her. Alanna fears that she might be falling for Matt, but forbids herself to admit to loving a rockstar. Things turn for the worse when she finds out that her and Brian, her worst enemy, become step-siblings. Can Alanna deal with her growing feelings for Matt and her new stepbrother's stupid games? Or will it all just be too much to handle?
