Emily comes from a family who hates her. Her Mother and half-sister treat her like dirt and blame her for everything that goes wrong, even when she's completely innocent. She has gotten use to her mother’s torment and counts the days till she can return to Hogwarts.
Her friendship the golden trio is growing stronger but Harry still doesn’t trust her. Sometime they'll be talking about Voldemort and he'll give them this look like 'don’t say anything, there is a slytherin right here!' she knows he means well and that eventually he'll learn to trust her.
