The New Queen

After the teams were picked, all the others could go home. The official men’s and women’s team got the gym and training facility all to themselves.
The first day after the team was picked, they ran around the gym and yelled and screamed and used everything to themselves. They needed to enjoy this feeling. All th hard work was leading up to the Olympics in just a few weeks.
The girls were beyond excited for the Olympics, they felt like they had a dream team of girls and had a really good shot for gold. Plus they had the future all around champion and possibly the first all around champion from Russia.
Their training consisted of specializing on the events they were expected to do in Rio. Anna really focused on vault and bars. She HAD to do bars during the team final and qualifying. They did not have Maria or Ksenia to back them up. Russia was pulling what they did in London. They were putting three up in a four up three count format.
They announced the final line up from qual and the tea final the week of podium training in Rio…
Vault: Aliya, Anna, Viktoria (Maria for qualifications)
Bars: Anna, Viktoria, Aliya
Beam: Aliya, Viktoria, Anna (Ksenia for qualifications)
Floor: Maria, Ksenia, Anna (Aliya for qualifications)

And the hopefully Anna and Aliya made it into the all around. Each one of them could make it into a final. Anna, Aliya and Viktoria had the best chances for gold medals.
This really was a DREAM team
