Well, Who's to Say You'll Have to Do it Alone?

The next day i got up early, today Caitlyn was spending her first weekend with Brook. I was extremely pissed about it but its out of my control. I checked my messages when i got in the livingroom since i left my phone on the couch. I had a message from Brook, its said: Im picking up Caitlyn at 11. I tossed my phone away and laid on the couch and then Jack walked in.

"Hey" he said

"Hi" i said

"Whats up?, you look like your out for blood" he said

"Caitlyns going with Brook today, shes coming at 11" i said

"Damn. This sucks, but i mean i guess it was kind of expected" he said

"What?" i said

"Well dude did you really think they'd deny her parental rights just because you have bad history with her. Courts suck but its the way things go" he said

"Yeah. I should run the laws" i said

"Yeah well you cant" he said

"I know" i said

"She'll always love you the most though dude so dont worry about it" he said

"Yeah" i said

I spent all morning with Caitlyn, i was not ready for her to leave me. Me and Jack played with her and sang to her, she really loves my voice. Later on while Jack was playing peek a boo there was a knock on the door.

"Oh no who is it!?" Jack said to Caitlyn prentending to be scared and she giggled at him

"We all know who it is" i said and opened the door and it was Brook

"Hey Alex" she said

"Hi" i said

"Im here for Caitlyn" she said

"Yep, heres her stuff" i said handing her the diaper bag while Jack put Caitlyn in her carseat

"Thanks, i'll have her back on sunday" she said and i nodded

"Here dude" Jack said passing me the carseat

"I love you baby girl be good for mommy" i said and kissed Caitlyn and handed Brook the carseat

"Okay well. Bye" she said and they left

"So what now since were all alone for the weekend?" Jack said

"I dont no" i said

"Me neither but we should like get everyone we can think of together and go to out drinking" he said

"Jack i dont wanna drink" i said

"Well just drink when Caitlyns not around, you can be completely sober all the other days. Come on you need to have a little fun" he said

"Jack-" i started but he cut me off

"Forget it were going. Im call Zack and Rian then im going to invite Lauren out and then im calling your cousin. Were gonna have fun" he said and left the room

Later that night me, Jack, Rian, Zack, Eliza and Lauren went out to a club. I did end up drinking and somehow Jack got Lauren to drink so it was a pretty fun time. A little while later i was sitting on Jacks lap and i was super drunk.

"Jacky, gimme!" i said trying to grab Jacks beer

"No dude" he said

"Rian Jacks not sharing" i said

"Well because your to drunk" he said

"Well so is Lauren but Jacks sharing with her!" i said, yeah we got Lauren wasted

"Jack look over there!" i said pointing to our left

"What?" he said looking over and i licked the mouth of the bottle

"Hah!" i said

"Ew dude" he said

"Can i have it now?" i asked

"Nope. Luckily for me saliva doesnt gross me out!" he said and drank the rest of the beer

"You suck!, Eliza go get me a beer?" i said

"No Alex" she laughed, she was our driver for the night

"I'll get you one, i need some alcohol" Lauren said

"I love you" i said

We stayed out for a little while longer and then we went home. Eliza dropped us all off at me and Jacks house and left. Rian and Zack decided to sleepover, they wernt like so wasted they couldn't drive but they thought it'd be smarter if they stayed the night.

"I better go home, i had fun!. Let me know when you do this again so i can join!" Lauren said

"No! stay!, sleep here" i said pulling on her sleeve

"I gotta go Alex" she said

"I cant let you go you'll get hurt" i said

"I live next door" she said giggling

"Yeah but still i dont think its safe to drink and walk. Stay" i said

"Theres no room!" she laughed

"Stay in my room. Sleep in my bed" i said

"Really?" she asked

"Really" i said

"Really?" she laughed

"Mhmm, theres plenty of room!" i said in my drunken excitement

"Mkay" she said

"Okay" i said leaning down and kissed her and she pulled away

"Woah" she said

"Im sorry i-" i started but she cut me off

"No i like it, do it again" she said and i kissed her harder and she kissed back

"Ewww" Jack said

"Come on" i said pulled her down the hall to my room

The next morning i woke up with a splitting migraine, i cant drink ever again its to painful. I groaned and shoved my face in my pillow before i heard someone mumbled. I looked over and Lauren was next to me. I felt my heart race as i remembered everything, i slept with Lauren last night. I poked Lauren a few times before she stirred.

"Mmmm what?" she said

"Lauren get the hell up" i said and she fully woke up and sat up

"Oh no!, what happened last night!?" she said

"Well...we kinda...had sex" i said

"What?!" she said

"Yeah" i said

"Are you sure!?" she said

"I-...im pretty sure. I dont no" i said and i heard a knock on the door and Jack walked in

"Hey, i came to make sure nobody had alcohol poisoning" Jack said

"Not funny dude" i said

"Well it seems like you two had fun last night" he said

"We did?" i said

"You two were really loud" he laughed and walked out

"Oh god no, no!" Lauren said

"Relax" i said

"Relax, what if im pregnant!" she said

"Your not!. I used a condom" i said

"Are you sure?, because i dont see one" she asked and i looked under the blanket

"Positive. Im still wearing it" i said grossed out

"Nasty" she said

"Yeah...im really really sorry" i said

"Its alright. I gotta go Alex" she said and grabbed the blanket around her and picked up her clothes and left

I stayed in bed for a little while and then got up to shower. After i showered i ate and then texted Lauren, we needed to talk about where we stand at this point. She agreed to meet me at starbucks at 2 so i just hungout with Jack before meeting up with her.

"Hey thanks for meeting me" i said

"Mhm" she said sitting down

"So look. Im really sorry i let that happen, i was drunk and stupid and-" i started and she cut me off

"No its okay its not entirely your fault Alex, i was drunk to. I could've stopped you but i didn't" she said

"Mhmm...so...i hope this doesnt change things. I still wanna be in your life. Plus my daughter adores you" i said and she laughed

"Of course we'll still be in eachothers lives...but i think we should have some space from eachother for now. Its just so weird, we need some time apart" she said

"Oh...okay" i said

"Im sorry Alex, i still wanna be your friend. I just need some time to get over this awkwardness" she said

"I understand" i said

"Thanks" she said

I went home a little while later and Jack was making coffee. I was pretty upset about the whole Lauren thing, we were becoming real good friends and i had to screw it up. I sat on the counter and watched Jack and after he was done he sat next to me.

"So how'd it go?" he asked

"She wants to have space from me" i said

"Really?" he asked

"Yeah she still wants to be friends but she needs time to get over all this" i said

"Wow. Well its totally understandable. I'd feel the same way" he said

"Yeah it just sucks balls you know?" i said

"Mhmm" he said

"No more alcohol for me ever, im serious" i said

"Alright. Coffee?" he asked and passed me his cup
