Well, Who's to Say You'll Have to Do it Alone?

I was up until midnight with Caitlyn, she just couldnt sleep. I woke up at 9 the next morning feeling like i was hit by a bus, i definitely caught whatever Caitlyn had. I got out of bed and went into the kitchen to see Jack feeding Caitlyn.

"Good morning sunshine" Jack said

"Hey. How is she?" i asked

"Fine, still a little bit of a fever but nothing major" he said

"Good" i said sitting at the table

"You look miserable" he said

"I dont feel good" i said

"Uh oh. Did you get daddy sick?!, did you!?" Jack joked and tickled Caitlyn

"Im serious dude" i said

"Oh. Well damn that was quick" he said

"Thats what i get for taking care of her all night" i said

"Well what can i say, that virus is super contagious" he said

"Yeah it is" i said lying my head on the table, it was so nice and cold

"Want some water?" he asked

"Make me tea?" i asked sitting up a little

"Sure. Anything else?" he asked

"Babysit my baby today" i said and he looked nervous

"I cant dude. My grandma is visiting and im suppose to go see her at my moms" he said

"Jack, please!. You can take her with you!" i said

"You know i can't, one hour with my family and that child will need years of therapy. You know my moms place isnt child friendly" he said

"True" i said

"Call Zack or Rian or anyone!. Someones gotta be available" he said

"Yeah, i'll call Rian" i said and he nodded

"Good!" he said and went to make my tea

"I'll be back, im gonna puke" i said

"Just dont be loud, puking sounds make me feel sick" he said and i rolled my eyes at him and left the room

After Jack left i called Rian and he didnt answer, whatever someone will. After calling everyone i was stuck watching my baby while im really sick. It was so stressful taking care of her and after a long time i was reaching my limit.

"Caitlyn, how about we take a nap okay?. Daddys tired from throwing up and watching you. He needs a nap" i said grabbing her toys and a pillow and comforter for me

"Dah" she whined

"Daddy really doesnt feel good. So while i nap you can play" i said sitting down and laid her with her toys and set up a bed for me

"Ehhhh dahh!" she whinned as i laid on my makeshift bed

"Shhh" i said

"Dahhhh" she whined and crawled over and smacked my stomach

"Caitlyn please!" i said

"Grrrrr" she growled and i sighed and picked up my phone dialing Rians number, another try wont hurt. He finally picked up

"Hello?" Rian said answering

"Oh thank god!. Listen you gotta come take care of Caitlyn, i caught what she had last night and Jacks not here so im all alone and i need your help!" i said

"Alright. Me and Meghan will come over now, need anything?" he asked

"No. Please just come!" i said sounding desperate

"Okay were coming" he said and i hung up and tossed my phone to the side

"Uncle Rian and aunt Meghan are coming over!" i said trying to sound happy and Caitlyn got excited, she really loves Rian

I just laid on the floor and let Caitlyn climb all over me, i would find it so cute if i didnt feel like i was dying. She kept trying to pull my hair and my beanie which was annoying but i ignored it. After a while the door opened and Caitlyn squealed.

"Hey" Rian said

"Thank god your here!, take her off me" i said, she was tugging on my beanie again

"Come on Caitlyn" Rian said picking her up

"Ugh, feels better without all her weight on me" i said

"Yeah. Cant believe your sick" he said

"I know!. I cant believe shes better!" i said

"Its a really odd disease thats going around, like its really contagious and like goes away quick to" Meghan said

"Yeah. But shes a baby, you'd think she'd still be affected" i said

"Yeah, its super weird" she said and i nodded

"Yeah. But anyways, you guys are life savers!. Thank you for coming over even though you have a chance of catching this!" i said sitting up

"No problem. So whats going on with you?" Rian asked sitting on the couch

"Ugh, what isnt going on with me!?. My stomach is killing me, i have a migraine and a fever, my back is killing me, im so nauseous, im exhausted, im hot, i have cramps" i said

"Damn" he said

"I know" i groaned

"How you feeling cutie?" he said tickling Caitlyn

"Ahhhhh" she said and giggled

"I take it shes fine" he said

"Mhm" i said

"Say Rian, come on say it" he said

"She cant even say dad, no way she'll say your name" i said

"Ne" she yelled happily

"I'll take it" he said

"I think she said no" Meghan said

"Yeah, i agree with that" i said and he glared at me

"Go take a nap" he said and i rolled my eyes at him

"Would you think i was nuts if i decided to take a nap on the hammock?" i asked

"Not at all, its pretty nice out. Really breezy" he said

"Okay. Like i said thank you guys!" i said getting up

"Seriously its no problem dude" he said and i took my pillow and blanket with me

I went out front and put the blanket and pillow on the hammock. I laid down and shoved my face into my pillow, it was so comfy!. I fell asleep and then was woken up a little while later by someone shaking the hammock.

"Rian i will murder you" i said

"Well good thing im not Rian" i heard the voice say and i opened my eyes

"Lauren?, what are you doing?" i said

"Your passed out in a hammock and moving in your sleep like crazy. Are you alright?" she said

"Are you spying on me?" i said

"Me and my friend are sitting on chairs on my lawn, i looked over at you and noticed you were moving a lot. Are you alright?" she asked

"Fine. Just really not feeling well" i sighed

"That really sucks. Im sorry for waking you, i feel bad" she said

"Mhmm" i said feeling my stomach churn a lot

"Wheres Caitlyn?" she asked

"Inside with Rian and his girlfriend" i said

"Oh" she said

"Yeah" i said sitting up onto my elbow

"Are you alright?, you dont look to good" she said

"Im fine, you should probably move. I think im gonna-" i said and threw up all over her legs

"Eww!" she said

"Im so so sorry" i said and rolled over clutching the blanket

"I- its fine Alex. Feel better" she said rubbing my back and she left

"Dude maybe you should come inside!" Rian yelled out the door

"Maybe you should suck my dick!. Im comfy" i said and i heard him mumbled a bunch of stuff and then slam the door shut

I fell back to sleep, it was so nice and i was so comfy. Rian came out to get me a few times but i was so comfy i refused to move. A few hours later i was woken up to another shake to the hammock.

"What the hells all this?" Jack said

"Hi" i said

"Hey. So, why are you out here?" he asked

"Sleeping" i said

"I know, but why?" he asked

"Because i wanted to" i said

"Alright, do you feel better?" he asked

"Yeah i do, still sore and tired and feverish. But im good" i said

"Glad to hear it" he said

"Mhmm" i said

"Wanna go inside?" he asked

"Sure. Carry me though?, im to sick to walk" i said

"No your not. But sure i'll carry you. Roll into my arms" he said bending down and he held out his arms and i rolled into him and he tryed to get up but dropped me in the process

"Owww, damnit Jack!" i said

"Oopsies, sorry" he said

"What the hell are you two doing?!" Rian said coming outside

"He was trying to carry me" i said

"Just walk inside dude" he sighed and went inside

"Come on sunshine, lets get you in bed" Jack said helping me up and picked up my blanket and pillow and we headed inside
