A Call from Mike
Normal POV
I felt something on my leg, causing me to wake up. At first I thought that it was David, and then I realized that it was my phone. But I heard David moaning,
"Don't get it."
"I have to." I was still wrapped in his arms, which made me feel so good inside. David whined a little, but then I won. I quickly answered my phone.
"Hello?" I yawned.
"Hey!"
"Mike?"
"Duh!"
"Ah! Mike. Hey!" I got so excited.I had missed Mike.
"Sorry. If I called to early." He chuckled.
"No. No! It's fine." I looked over at the clock. 11:30. Wow. We must have been more tired than we realized.
David looked at me confused, then sad as he went out to the balcony. I was a bit confused as well.
"What's up?" Mike questioned,
"Nothing. Oh wait! Guess what?" "What?" He pretended to be just as excited as me.
"I am now dating David!"
"What?!?"
"I- Am- Now-"
"No. I heard what you said, but David from Simple Plan?"
"Yes!"
"Oh! Maddy that's great! I am so happy for you!"
"Thank you! And Bri is dating Pierre!"
"Holy shit! Tha's so cool!"
"I know." I noticed that David still had not come back into the room.
"Hey. You sound sad. What's wrong?"
"Nothing. But I'll call you later. Ok?"
"Ok. Are you sure you're alright?"
"Yeah. Bye Mike. I love you."
"Love you too!" I slowly hung up and walked out, putting my arms on David's back.
"Hey." He sounded do sad, but I didn't know why. I have never seen him like this. I felt so bad.
We sat there in silence for a couple of minutes, but then David finally said something.
"Who's Mike?"
"What?"
"The guy. Mike. On the phone?"
"Oh! That Mike! Oh no. Me and Mike are only friends. Me, Mike and Bri have been friends since we were all like 3! I swear." David turned around facing me.
"Oh. I'm so sorry Maddy."
"No. It's ok. I should have told you." David pulled me into a hug. Then he cupped my face in his hands and placed a gentle kiss on my lips.
"Forgive me?"
"Of course."
"Good." David picked me up again, this time bridal style.
"Lets go get changed and go get something to eat."
"Ok. Well I have to shower first."
"Me too, But can I help you with your shower?"
"David!"
"Ok. Fine. You can do that on your own."
"Ok." I gave him a quick kiss, which turned out to be a full- on make out session. But I pulled away.
"Do you have to shower now?"
"Yes." I started to walk away, but David grabbed my hand and spun me around. Quickly kissing me again.
"OK. Go. Go. You're way to tempting!"
"Ok." I walked into the bathroom, slowly shutting the door, and falling up against it, thinking to myself. I'm falling more and more for him every second...
