He tasted like honey mixed with a heavy dose of fear. I kept kissing him. I'd die before I'd let go of this moment. We loved each other... I'm glad he was thinking the same thing I was. I felt like I could die in partial peace because I told him.
We separated. I quickly became sad.
"I love you," George said again. "It feels good to let you know that."
"Same here." God, that sounded lame. I leaned and kissed his tears away.
"One last goodbye kiss?" I asked, hopefully.
"Of course."
