No Matter What

I put the pencil behind my ear and grabbed the two plates an took them to their tables.
"yo k! You've got two tables." jimmy said. He was the other waiter that was working this shift with me.
"thanks j." I grab my note pad and walk to the first one glancing through the pages.
"what can I get for you?" I ask without looking up
"hey kat."
I look up to see rio Adam Chris and Wyatt at the table.
"didn't know you work here." Wyatt said
I nod and smile "yep. I work here you guys ready to order?" I ask
I take heir order and head to my other table which held Liam an his friends whose names I didn't know.
"hey there sexy. Didn't know you work here" Liam winks at me " I also like the outfit by the way."
I was wearing a black mini skirt and a required blue diner shirt.
"thanks." I take their order and I blow out a breath of air.
I liked Liam but I don't want rio to be upset
"you okay k?" jimmy asked putting his arm on my shoulder
I nod and recompose myself.
"I'm fine." I try to smile
I take the them their plates and rio and them pay and leave rip promising to call my house phone later when I get home
I'm at the cash register getting change when hands appear on my hips the person turns me around and kisses me the person pulls back and I see it was Liam he is smirking at me
" I had to do that." he winks at me and "wanna meet later? For studying?"
"uhhhhh sure." I say
"cool here's my adress see you later." he winks again and leaves
