I Missed Him
*August 13, 2013*
I was so happy I booked a flight out to Toronto to surprise Travis and the band because I missed them very much! It was 5:00 am when I woke up. I did sleep early the night before. Anyways, Kristin, one of my friends that live in Bradenton, decided to watch over a few things in my house. She helped me lift my suitcases in to my car and we headed for the Sarasota-Bradenton airport. I had my passport ready and everything! I got my itineraries, went through security ,and then I went to the gate. My flight was about 7:30 am. At 7:30, I boarded my flight. The flight was about 4 hours. When my flight landed, I was excited.
The cab driver drove me to the tour bus. I texted Travis.
Our texts:
Me: Look outside, babe :)
Travis: What?
Me: Look outside the bus :)
I see Travis walk outside the bus.
"Oh my gosh, babe!" Travis said happily as he gave me a kiss,
"I missed you so much!" I said
"I missed you, too!" He said as he hugged me.
We kissed again.
"How's our baby doing?" He asked
"Very well." I said.
"That's great," He said kissing my forehead "See ya later, baby"
"See ya, baby." I said
I walked into the bus. Coley was there. Some of the others were walking around the city.
"Skylar?" Coley smiled as he saw me.
"Yes." I said as I walked up to hug him.
"Wow what a surprise to see you here." He smiled as he hugged me.
"I wanted to surprise you guys." I said.
"Aww, that's sweet!" Coley said.
"Thanks." I said.
"You're welcome." Coley said.
"How are ya?" I asked.
"Doing well," He answered "How about yourself?"
"Doing good with this baby and all." I said rubbing my belly
"Great," He said "Well, I gonna go grab a bite at this place around the corner, wanna come?"
"No thanks." I said
"Okay," He said "See ya later."
"See ya." I said
I went to the back of the bus and see 4 other guys. One guy had a thin braid on the back of his hair. I approach him.
"Hi," I said "My name is Skylar."
"Hi Skylar," The guy said "My name is Josiah."
"Nice to meet you, Josiah." I said as we shook hands
"Nice to meet you, Skylar." Josiah said as we shook hands again.
Another guy I approached had dark, ear-length hair.
"My name is Josh," The guy said "You can call me Nerd Rock."
"Nice to meet you, Nerd Rock," I said with a smile as we shook hands "My name is Skylar."
"Nice to meet you, Skylar." Nerd Rock said as we shook hands again.
Another guy I approached had glasses.
"Hi," I said "My name is Skylar."
"Hi, Skylar," The guy said "My name is Zach, but some people call me 'the human squirrel' because I like to climb on things."
"Nice to meet you, Zach" I said as we shook hands.
"Nice to meet you, Skylar." Zach said.
I approach a guy who had long dreads.
"Hi," I said "My name is Skylar."
"Hi, Skylar," The guy said "My name is Beavis."
"Nice to meet you, Beavis" I said as we shook hands.
"Nice to meet you, Skylar." Beavis said.
We all talked about ourselves.
