Don't Make This Easy

"So what was that with Alex, huh?" Ryan said winking. It was early morning they all say around the little table for breakfast. Jasey laughed

"I don't know really, I met him after our set. And then Jack was creeping while I was warming up." She said as she ate her peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She took a bit and quickly put it down "Oh my gosh I almost forgot!" She said shouting as she made her way to her bed, she grabbed her phone and returned to the table. Now all three guys staring at her, as she was crazy. "Look what Jason said to me last night!" She said placing the phone in the middle of the table for all to see.

Paul grabbed the pink phone into his hands and cleared his throat as he began to read "Jasey, I don't know how this is going to work out. I know it's only been two weeks, but I just can't do it. I don't know what you're doing, or who you are with. I just can't stand not knowing, and you never call or text me anymore like you promised. It's just really hard for me to focus on anything having to worry about you. I honestly never thought this would happen between us. I'm sorry Jasey Rae i just can't stick around." Paul then scrolled down and laughed, he showed the guys and they laughed as well as they saw Jasey's reply.

It was a picture of Jason and some other girl, she was sitting on his lap smiling and him kissing her neck. Jasey then sent another message saying "It's okay I didn't believe your load of crap anyways. Nice slut" Jason then replied saying "She's just a friend Jasey.." And with that Paul gave Jasey her phone back still laughing

"Really, he is stupid if he thinks anyone is going to believe that's his friend." Nick said. Jasey grabbed her phone from Paul and placed it on the table.

"Right? Well that's a whole four years wasted." Jasey said with a sigh, but continued to eat.

Paul took a seat next to her, placing his arm around her. "How do you feel about it?"

She took a deep breath and slowly let it out. "Well i'm not upset about it, I kind of was waiting for it. I'm just glad that i didn't have to do it. I mean it's sad because of the person he became, but at the same time i have so much to focus on." She said looking at the guys and then she smiled "Plus i have you guys, i need no one else." the guys awed at her words and grouped hugged. It was interrupted by her phone, that now held an unread message.

"Alex Gaskarth, oooo Jasey Rae on the rebound!" Ryan said snatching her phone from the table where it sat. She laughed at his childish ways, she loved her boys they always lightened the mood.

"It's not like that Ryan, I just want to focus on my music." She said as Paul took the phone from Ryan and gave it back to her. She smiled "Plus I think Jack is the cuter one, between the two." She said while checking the message.

Nick laughed "What does it say?" they crowded around her awaiting for her to speak.

She smiled "Nothing, he just said to find him at the next show. He has a favor to ask me,"

"Probably wants a blow job." Ryan said the guys laughed

She hit him on his shoulder "You are disgusting Ryan." She said as she shook her head replying to the text message.

Ryan groaned in the process rubbing his shoulder "I'm just saying! Some guys have no shame."

"Yeah like you?" Nick replied

Ryan nodded "Exactly like me!" Jasey couldn't help but laugh

"Well whatever it is, i'm sure it isn't that. I'm going to go change, we're almost there anyways." She said as she retreated to her bedroom at the back of the bus.

The bus then came to a complete stop, and was shut off. Which only meant that they had arrived, Jasey walked out of her bedroom now dressed in her outfit the guys were already on their way off the bus. Jasey quickly grabbed her phone and walked off behind them.

The bright sun hit her eyes, it was definitely warm outside. The guys were helping unload the bus, she decided to help set up the merch table.

After she was done, she decided to walk towards the stage where they were handing out the set schedule. She figured her band was probably already there, Jack had been texting her random things which kept her entertained as she waited for time to pass. She began to walk until she was suddenly stopped by a hand grabbing her right elbow.

"Jasey, i've been looking all over for you. I asked Paul where you were he said to look at the merch table. And well here you are." He said smiling while dropping his hand from her elbow and returning it to his side.

She laughed "Oh i'm sorry i forgot, I was to caught up with setting up. So what was it you needed?" She asked him, putting her cell phone in her back pocket and crossing her arms over her chest.

He rocked back and forth on his feet while he place his hands in his skinny jeans shrugging his shoulders. "Weeeeelllllllll I was wondering, if you could umm help me out with a song..."

She arched her left eyebrow, "A song? Like help you write it?"

He shook his head "No like sing it with me, the fans really love it. And there is this part where a girl sings it, usually Cassadee would fill in but she has the flu. I can sing it without the girl in it, but the fans really seem to like it with the girl in it." It wasn't a total lie he said, the fans loved the song with the girl but her also just wanted to an excuse to sing with her.

She laughed "So you want me to fill in the vocal part?"

He nodded "You'd be saving my ass if you did."

"Yeah i'll do it, i mean what harm could it bring." She smiled at him, Alex couldn't help but smile as well. She was about to turn around until she stopped herself as forgetting to ask him a question. "Have you seen Jack? He wants to go get our schedules together."

He couldn't help that his heart tugged at those words, did she like Jack better than him? He swallowed the lump in his throat "Yeah he should be at the stage already." He said a little bitter. He quickly tried to cover it up with a fake smile "I'll see you later so we can practice?"

She looked confused at his sudden change of emotions but brushed it off and smiled "Yeah i'll be warming up, so just come when you're ready."

He nodded and she turned to walk towards the arena. He mimicked her motion but took a glance back as he heard her laugh, he than saw his bestfriend with a big smile as he placed his right arm around her shoulder. She laughed at something he said and continued to walk towards the arena. He couldn't help feel a bit of jealousy...
