Don't Make This Easy

It's been five months, since Jasey Rae met Alex and his band. She couldn't help the smile that she had every time they rolled around. They had taken a break from touring, Jasey and her band mates had returned to go old New York. Alex and the guys had returned to Baltimore, Alex had missed her terribly, even though it had been a couple of weeks since he had seen her. He couldn't help it, he didn't confess his feelings for her. But it was obvious to everyone but her of course.

Jasey couldn't help but smile as her iphone lit up with Alex's name on the screen. She slid the unlock button as his face popped up.

"JAAAASSSEEEYYYY!!!" You could hear Jack in the background she laughed.

"JAAACCCKKKIIEEE" She said smiling into the camera, even though they were only 3 hours away. This was the closest they have been since tour. They had been busy with interviews, and whatnot. Jasey had been busy writing, it was insane to even get time for each other.

"What are you up to Jasey?" Alex said smiling at her. Jack was texting in the background.

She laid herself on her bed, the phone now above her. "Umm just laying here, come lay with me."

He couldn't help but smile at her words. "Like old times?" thinking back to those three months on tour, when he would break up with Lisa. He would come on her bus, watch sappy love movies and eat ice cream. She would tell him he deserved better and how wonderful he was. She would lift him up from the hole he was in. She was his sun when the rain was pouring down.

"Yes, but no crying. Just you and I." She said patting the spot next to her. "Look it's lonely." She pushed her lip out causing herself to pout.

He laughed "I would love to Jasey,"

"You know Alex, i actually have all next week free... The guys are back home with their family... And well i'm all alone... you know if you want to ummm like come down. I mean if you're not busy." She said stumbling at her words. She cursed herself for not sounding smooth.

"What a coincidence! I have next week off too, and i'm going to be alone all week! Wow, it's like faith we hang out. I'll be over Sunday morning." He said cursing himself for being to eager.

Her smile grew, "Yay! i can't wait." Before he could speak, he heard the door open and someone speak. She got herself up in a sitting position, her attention now towards the stranger and nodded before turning back to her screen looking at Alex.

And before she could speak he already knew "Have to go?" He asked her.

She frowned, he watched as her curls bounced along to the rhythm of her nod. "Yeah, I guess i'm suppose to be doing an interview in a few. No one ever tells me any thing!" She threw her head back adding dramatic effect to the situation. "I'll text you when i'm done. Love ya Alex. Muah!" She said kissing her phone.

Alex couldn't help but laugh, she always did it when she would hang up. "Love you too Jasey, text me the channel of the interview. I would love to see you mess up."

"Shut it!" She said shooting him a glare, and before Alex could say more the screen went black.
