I felt… light. It was as if the world was a cloud, the air of water, cognition of fog. I struggled to move something, anything, but I couldn’t. I was immobile. It was as if I had been injected with twice too many sedatives. Distantly, as though from far away or through water I could hear something, something… incessant. I wanted it to stop, and tried to voice that, but again, no matter how much I struggled, I couldn’t.

“.. please…” I heard as the warmth took over again, but couldn’t quite catch the rest of it. I was far gone before the noise even registered as a word.
