The Point Until He Returns
First day
Today was my first day of high school and I was exited. This summer was great; I moved school (A fresh start), bought new clothes, worked on my tan, even started working out 5 minutes a day. My life was set.
Today, walking into school with the chatter of everyone talking to their friends, i began to feel lonely. I looked down at my schedule, navigating my way to my locker and stuffing a few unneeded things in their. A couple sheets of paper flittered out of my hand, and i grabbed at them, but someody else got to it.
"Hmmm... There's a new kid, guys. Oh, he got the locker by the girls bathroom. Lucky boy." A few tall and muscular jerks commented, laughing.
I looked beside me and seen the girls bathroom, and a few bystanders watching the jerks face me off.
I started reaching for my paper, but he kept it out of my reach. I jumped, but he pushed me back against the locker, and I paused, trying to keep the fuzzy white stuff away from the edges of my vision.
"Can I have my paper back." I sighed, shifting my weight to the other leg, trying to not look scared, but bored. "I need to find my class."
"Aww, the baby needs to find his class. More like his mama's skirts." The jerk laughed, the others chimming in a second later.
I felt my face turn red, but I never faultered in covering my scaredness. I snatched my hand out, but he held it higher above my head.
"Stop." some boy said, coming towards us, grabbing the paper and stuffing it in my hand, backing me against the locker, sheilding me.
"Oh, protecting the newbie, i see. Alex, you dweeb, get out of my way or..."
"Or what? Tell mom, like you always do. Fine go ahead, and make sure to include why exactly you I wouldn't get out of your way. So think before you act, dork." The guy turned around, slammed my locker shut and haulled me away.
"Uhm, hmm, i... Thanks." I studdered, staggering behind me.
"No problem, my brothers always been an Ass." He said, turning around as soon as we were in a corner, with a few other kids. One girl and two other boys. "I'm Alex," He said, the brunnette with delicouse brown eyes, and a lean built. "This is Cassee, The bald one is Rian, and Skatter dude is Zack."
"Hey, I'm not bald; I just choose not to have hair." Rian commented.
"I'm Jack."
"Yeah, I know. I read it on your schedule. Oh and we have a couple classes together. Mrs. Jaybird is so Fucked up, she has to pause class just to find her glasses, which are usually on her head, and Mr. Tanny, he is cool. He never does anything but show movies and you can say you have to go to the bathroom, be gone for thirty minutes and he wont even notice."
"Ha, nice." I replied, stretching my back.
"Yeah, hey Jack, we're having a 'back to school party' at my house. You can come, but you have to bring your own beer. Those bastards are hard to come by now-a-days."
I smiled, smuggly knowing I was going to fit in just find. The first day I already had a group, first party... I know It's all going to be okay. Not to mention, It wont be bad to hang with Alex, he will have my back, I've got his ass, and he was easy on the eyes.
