Synthetic Love

I couldn’t believe that Brodon said what he had said to my girlfriend…. Well she isn’t my girlfriend but still, I couldn’t believe him and his band also trashed the bus!
I could tell Anna was starting to get stressed because of everything and also upset, Anna was currently blanked out and I could easily read her like a book.
“Anna, Anna” I said shaking Anna out of her blanked out state of mind,
“Yeah?” she answered
“Would you like to go out tonight since we have a day off tomorrow?” I asked
“Are you asking me out on a date Mr Sola?” Anna smirked. God I love it when she smirks, oh god better stop thinking about that smirk before a friend of mine shows up.
I was brought out of my thoughts to Anna poking me in the side, I was ticklish in the sides.
“Anna, st-stop-stop it” I said wriggling
“Nooope” Anna said smirking again, Anna was starting to get closer to me as I was trying to get away from her. Anna finally got me cornered at the end of the couch,
“No-no Anna stop” I was begging Anna to stop in between laughs
“Nope” Anna said straddling my waist. Balz and Chris walked into the lounge to see Anna straddling my waist,
“Oh god I think their about to have sex” Balz groaned turning around and about to leave again
“No-no we aren’t” I said getting Anna off my waist
“Thank god” Balz said throwing his hands up in an overdramatic way. He walked up to the couch and plonked himself between Anna and myself and put his arms around both of our shoulders,
“What’s up for tonight kiddies?” Balz asked looking between Anna and myself
“Devin wanted to take me on a date” Anna said smirking
“ooooooo a date!” Allie squealed as she came into the lounge from where her and Ryan were in the bunk area.
“Hey there’s a fair going on at the moment, maybe Devin, Ryan, Allie and Anna could all go on a double date?” Chris suggested
“That’s sounds amazing Chris!” Allie said, so now mine and Anna’s “date” is now going to be a double date with Ryan and Allie.
*Time lapse to the when they get to the fair*
Ryan was currently mumbling about how overpriced the tickets to the fair were. I didn’t mind paying $55 for both mine and Anna’s tickets, I haven’t really spent money on anyone since Anna left.
“So we’ll split up and around 9 we’ll text each other to find a spot we can meet up to leave” Allie said, Anna and I just nodded and walked away from Allie and Ryan,
“Where do you wanna go first?” I asked
“Why don’t we go on some rides?” Anna suggested. We went on the break dancer, cliff hanger, hurricane and drop tower and we were currently trying to settle our stomachs
“You wanna get some food?” I suggested
“Devin, we’re trying to settle our stomachs not make us want to vomit more” Anna said with a giggle
“well I’m starting to get hungry” I said realising the last time I ate was breakfast this morning
“Alright, you wanna get some hot chips or a hot dog?” she asked
“Hmmmm, some hot chips might be good” I said, I brought some hot chips and we sat on a picnic table. I started eating and Anna stole some of my chips,
“Hey you stole my chips!” I said trying to be overdramatic, Anna stole a few more and I gave in and decided to share my chips with her.
“Hey why don’t we go on the Ferris Wheel?” I suggested
“Ah n-no” Anna said shakily,
“Why? What’s wrong?” I asked
“I’m scared of heights” Anna said looking down, I stepped towards her and lifted her chin up.
“Hey no need to be embarrassed” I cooed, I noticed Anna’s cheeks where burning with embarrassment and I kissed her softly on the cheek.
“Um we can go on the ride if you like?” she suggested, I grabbed onto her hand and took her over to the ride. We got on and the ride started up, we looked towards the city where all the lights were shinning bright with a lot of different colours. I began to softly sing city lights as Anna looked towards the lights,
“You have a really good voice Dev” Anna said cuddling up to me
“Yeah?”
“Yeah” Anna said kissing my cheek. My cheeks were burning red now and I finally had the chance to say,
“I know that you’ve only broken up with Brodon for a few days but I would love to be your boyfriend again. I can treat you better than I did when we were last together and you complete me, my love so will you be my girlfriend?”
“Yes, yes I will” Anna said as I leaned in towards her to kiss her soft but passionate, we broke apart and had our foreheads rested together. Soon after the ride finished and we hopped off, I received a text message from Allie asking to meet up at the front of where you come in and out of the fair since it was almost 9 already, Anna and I walked towards where we were meeting and I entwined our hands together. Anna looked up to me and smiled, everything about this girl is perfect. We saw Ryan and Allie and headed towards them seeing Allie with 3 big stuffed toys; a monkey, a penguin and a panda.
“Hey how was the fair for you guys?” Ryan asked
“Yeah it was good” I said
“Aw Devin didn’t get you a stuffed animal?” Allie asked
“To be honest we were more interested in the rides” Anna said shrugging
“Oh here, you can have my penguin” Allie said giving Anna her stuffed penguin
“Thank you” Anna said holing onto the stuffed animal,
“Alright to head off now?” Ryan asked
“Yeah” we all said heading off back to the tour bus.
Everything was all delightful right now.
