Synthetic Love

It has been a week since tour started and our first night off which we were currently parked at the venue we were going to be playing at tomorrow.
Angelo, Chris, Balz and myself were sitting in the front of the bus just talking since Ricky was outside having a smoke and Ryan was in his bunk with Allie being all lovey dovey and stuff.
“So…. Still thinking about Bel?” Balz asked,
“, I can’t get Bel off my mind, she’s the only girl I have thought about since Anna left and it makes it so hard since Bel has a boyfriend” I said groaning in frustration
“Everything will get better Ghost” Angelo said reassuring me
“I don’t know” I said putting my head in my hands.
“Hey Ang, wanna come outside with me?” Chris asked
“Sure” Angelo said getting up and leaving Balz and myself alone on the bus,
“Why did Chris need Angelo outside?” I said taking my head out of my hands,
“I don’t know dude, we’ll find out soon hopefully”.

A few moments later there was a knock on the bus door, Balz got up to answer the door and there stood Phil Manansala
“Hey man whats up?” Balz said giving Phil a man hug
“Not much, I was just wondering if any of you guys wanted to come into town with me. There will be other people there with me hopefully, we’re just going to get more food and other stuff that everyone needs, so you wanna come?” Phil said
“Nah I won’t but I’ll see if anyone else wants to come who is on the bus” Balz said
“Yo Ryan, you wanna into town later?” Balz shouted,
“Nah, Allie and I are just gonna stay here for the whole day” Ryan shouted back
“What about you Ghost?” Balz asked
“Sure, I don’t see why not..” I said
“Alright ghost, come to my bus in about an hour” Phil shouted before saying goodbye and leaving.

It was already an hour and I left to go to the Of Mice & Men bus to go into town, not many people were going to go but I saw that Bel was heading over here. Why would she be coming over here I thought to myself, oh wait maybe she wanted to go into town. We started to walk to town which was meant to take about 20 minutes from where we were,
“Listening to something good?” I asked walking next to Bel
“If I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t be listening to it,” she said. It sounded like what Anna would say, maybe she is actually Anna.
“It’s End of Prom Night, by Snow White’s Poison Bite,” she added, I only knew one other person who liked them and that was Anna, Bel is starting to really give me a feeling that she is Anna.
“I’ve only heard one other person answer that way,” I said looking down. We got into small groups as we hit the town and wandered into different shops, the group contained myself, Bel, Phil, DJ, Michael, Alan, Jonathan and Andy decided to go into the small restaurant to have something to eat. We were waiting in line when I thought I’d be a gentleman and pay for what Bel wanted, I jumped in the line in front of her and turned around to ask her what she wanted.
“I’m fine, I can pay for myself,” she said,
No I’ll pay for you” I said
“I can pay for my own food thank you very much” Bel said stubbornly
“Go sit down, I’ll bring the food when it’s ready,” I said, Bel left to go sit in a seat around the empty table we were going to take over. I saw Michael Vampire head towards her and I started to shoot draggers from my eyes to the back of his head, I was brought back when the worker asked what I wanted, I ordered what Bel and I wanted and got the food.
I headed over to the table and the conversation between Michael and Bel was over,
“So, what are we talking about?”
“Bel and I heard a rumor this morning that someone here on tour is hitting on you,” Michael said.
“Wait, who’s hitting on Devin?” Jonathan Vigil asked
“Not sure,” Bel said answered.
“It’s just a rumor we heard earlier “ she said as I was eating quietly, ignoring everyone else.
“It’s about time too,” Andy Glass said.
“It’s pretty well known that Devin has been hooked on some chick he knew in high school. Looks for her at every show too”.
Seriously, just talk about me as if I wasn’t there. It was really starting to get on my nerves, I shoved my chair back and made my way out of the restaurant.

I had my back the restaurant sitting on a bench trying to keep myself calm, how dare they talk about Anna like that, they make me sound like some creep and I don’t want to lose Bel even if she isn’t Anna. I saw Bel heading towards me in the corner on my eye,
“Hey, I brought you’re drink,” she said taking a seat next to me.
“Thanks” I said quietly,
“So, I’m guessing you want to know the story now.”, she shook her head.
“No, I actually came out here to tell you that I changed the conversation, so you can go back in if you want.”
“I’ll pass. But why did you do that? You didn’t have to support me.”
“No, I didn’t have to, but like I told everyone else in there, I doubt you’ve told everything there is about this chick. You’ve probably been keeping some details back so you know it’s really her.” Bel said
“I haven’t told anyone much about her, or what happened” I said.
“Things didn't end well.”
“I understand the feeling. I’m sure things will work out for you.” she said
“We should probably be getting back.” I said,
Bel and I decided to go straight to the grocery store and back to the buses instead of meeting back up with the others, I brought Bel back to Peace For Mind’s bus. I wonder why Brodon wasn't with her today?
“Thank you Devin” she said as she got on the bus,
“I’ll see you tomorrow, yeah?” she added
“Yeah, I’ll see you tomorrow” I said walking back to the bus, as I got back onto my bus Chris questioned where I have been.
“I just went into town with a few others” I said walking straight to the bunk area to hop into my bunk, I just wanted to fall asleep and wake up and it would be tomorrow.
I was just about to fall asleep when I heard a moan above me, oh god Ryan and Allie were up to having sex again. Looks like I’m not having any sleep any time soon, I grabbed my iPod and put on some music, soon after I fell into a deep slumber.
