Chapter three
Lucas’s POV
Kyler and I played “Call of Duty: MW3” and talked for two hours and we found out we had a lot in common. We both liked same video games, sports and bands. We liked both liked hockey, only I played it, and Kyler, well, he could just ice skate. We both liked Alesana, Escape the Armada, and Pierce the Veil. We were so similar, it was crazy.
I beat Kyler four times on Modern Warfare 3, he beat me once. Needles to say, I was the better gamer. Kyler sucked at this game, but I only made fun of him a little bit. He asked me for my number and I gave it to him, well, because what if he wanted to invite me to a party or something? After all he has lived here long than I have and I only knew the kids in my neighborhood and a few at school.
“Hey Kyler, there any skating rinks around here?” I asked.
“Ice or roller?” Kyler responded.
“Either.”
“There’s an ice rink a few miles from your neighborhood, and the roller skating rink is a few minutes past it. We should go sometime.” Kyler told me
“Sounds like a plan. We should get some other kids from the school there too, like Amber, or Katie.”
“Nah, man, Katie’s a hoe.”
“What about Amber?”
“She’s cool”
We continued talking about the girls in our grade, for about ten minutes.
