Punching slowly my mind can't change the speed.
Jimmy's POV
Well today is the day everything changes for us. Today we leave Huntington Beach and start our tour. To everyone's disapproval, including mine, Matt is bringing his sister, Jamie, and nephew, Hunter, with us on the tour. As much as I still love that woman, she still broke my heart by running off with that asshole, David. Now she came back running away from him and brought a son back.
I don't know what to think of everything that's happening. I know it will be hard to avoid Jamie since she is coming with us. 'Two months.' I thought to myself. 'That's how long I have to deal with being around her.'
"Hey Lindsay, will you help me and Jason set up my drum kit?" I asked, looking at her while loaded up her luggage.
"Of course, Jimbo. I helping you with your drums." she said with a big smile on her face, as she returned to helping load up everything. I helped out until Matt and Zack pulled me to the side.
"So how are you holding up?" Matt asked me, crossing his arms over his chest while staring at me. I know that Jamie is his sister but it's still hard.
"I'm holding up good, Matt. There is no need to worry. I will keep my distance though. It still hurts to look at her right now." I responded truthfully. I couldn't lie to one of my best friends at all.
Matthew patted me on my back and went to go help Lindsay and probably talk to her. I'm glad those two decided to patch things up and become friends again. I noticed that Brian hasn't been around all morning and all day yesterday. I wonder where he could be since he disappeared on us the other night.
"Have you heard anything from Brian? It was weird how he just disappeared the other night. I asked Lindsay if she had heard from him, but she shook her head and said she hasn't heard anything from her. The only person she has heard from was that Tony guy. Yesterday he was texting her and calling all day. He kept answering and talking to him though. I didn't say anything about her thing with Brian because I like Tony and think he is a good guy." Zack asked me, looking around to see if Brian had shown up yet.
Soon we were packed and ready to hit the road, however we couldn't. Brian still hasn't shown up yet and we are supposed to leave in thirty minutes. I noticed that Zacky got up and put his phone to his ear. He was talking to someone and from what I could tell, he was getting angry with that person.
Brian finally showed up fifteen minutes later and he packed all of his stuff in the space available in the trailer that the van was pulling. He got into the van first.
"Dude, where the hell have you been? What took so long?" I asked as I sat down next to Lindsay, who sat next to him. Everyone else started to pile in and Matt got behind the wheel in the driver's seat and Nate rode in the passenger seat up front.
"I just overslept. That's all that happened. I didn't sleep well last night." Brian answered, leaning his head back against the seat.
Lindsay just scoffed. "Well it's obvious that you didn't sleep well with all the marks on your neck." she said, sounding pissed off. My eyes went wide as I looked at his neck to see if it was true. I saw three big hickeys on his neck that were very dark in color.
"Lindsay, don't be like that. It was a mistake." Brian said, reaching for my best friend's hand. She pulled it away before he could grab it then she turned her attention to me.
"Will you switch spots with me?" She asked and I just nodded. We switched spots then she leaned her head on my shoulder and we went to sleep while riding to the venue.
We arrived at the venue ten minutes before our sound check. We got everything unload and proceeded to do our sound check. Lindsay made no effort to talk to Brian, as hard as he tried to talk to her. Soon the show started and we opened with To End The Rapture.
We were coming to the point where we were about to play this song that Matt made for Lindsay to make her forgive him a while back.
"This song is called to Warmness On The Soul and I would like to dedicate this song to my very dear close friend, who is also Zacky V's sister, Lindsay. I hope you are watching this. I just want to let you know that you mean everything to us and for that, I love you." Matt said into the mic, making Lindsay blush a very bright shade of red.

Matthew continued to sing the song while looking straight at my best friend. I couldn't help but still glances at Jamie. I knew I wouldn't or couldn't stay mad at her forever.
We finished the set and walked off the stage after saying goodbye to the crowd. I watched Matthew walk in the direction were Lindsay was at our merch booth and couldn't help but wonder what he was doing. I started to walk to the little bus we have until I saw Jamie. I knew I needed to talk to her.
"Hey Jamie. Um can we talk?" I asked her, as I walked up to her. I was hoping she wouldn't turn me down. She nodded in agreement and we walked to a little park near the bus.
