Lights in Your Eyes
Missing You More Than Usual.
I still remember the last time I ever saw you.
It was Christmas, and you are standing outside in the snow, looking at all the decorations on the houses. You were wrapped up in a coat and scarf with fairy lights burning in your eyes. I was watching you from the window, and I swear you were so goddamn beautiful.
I always end up thinking of you when this time of year comes around: when the snow starts falling; when the Christmas tree goes up; when I hear carolers at the door. And I miss you more than usual.
I hope you're happy, wherever you are. God, you deserve to be happy. And I hope that you'll come back some day; the place hasn't been the same since you took off. But most of all, I hope you're having a good Christmas, and that the lights are still burning in your eyes.
