Chapter 1: If I Could Have A Minute Please
It seemed like a faiirly average day in London at the studio but it was far from it.Its September 6th 2013 and auditions for the new vocalist in You Me At Six.You see the company confronted the band saying that they would appeal to a wider range with a girl with something like the set up in Paramore and Tonight Alive they took the risk.It was 1pm in the afternoon. Still no luck.
'Next 222 Miss Jenna Smith' A receptionist called out.Tge boys were fed up and quite frankly wanted to go home.But then a girl with crystal emerald eyes and wavy sandy golden hair walked in. You could tell she was nerveous she had her face to the ground by the time she reached the middle of the room she looked up and gazed at the 5 boys thre her emerald eyes,
'So Jenna Smith eh?' Josh asked
'Yep thats my name' She replied
'Ring a bell Max?' Josh asked his small companion nudging him tk look up.
'No fucking way mate!' Max exclaimed
'Haha knew it' Josh indicated ' So you sing now do you Jen?'
'Yeah currently doing music course in Uni' She answered
'What Im confused' Dan mumbled
'Jenna here back in the old days was a good friend of ours' Max replied making Jenna laugh.
'Umm can I sing now or whar?' Jenna asjed them
'Oh yeah go ahead!' Matt exclaimed
Jenna grabbed the mic off of the stand. Her heart was pounding but the backing track begun.It was Little Death. She did an acoustic version mors melodic if you will.Dan was lost in her eyes and when she had finished muttered 'Beautiful'
'Amazing,simply amazing' Matt commented
'Wow thanks!' Jenna said in a shocked tone
'May I ask, why an acoustic of Little Death?' Chris asked
'Well because it reminds me of my dad passing when the doctor told me it was his time or it was meant to happen which is a load of bullshit' She answered in the calmest way possible
'Dave' Max gasped
'No way he.....he died.....' Josh muttered
'Im so sorry for your loss' Matt said
'You and Dan have that in common then....I guess' Chris shrugged
'I guess so' She said smiling in Dans direction
'If you dont mind we will have minute please' Josh asked as they stepoed into a meeting room nextdoor.
