Secret Santa

Christmas Eve is a day to spend with family, get together and have massive amounts of hot chocolate and maybe even open a present or two. That was not the case for Allie. Instead, she was stuck working the 6pm-12am shift at the most popular coffee shop in town. And believe it or not, handing out hot chocolate, coffee and tea to angry, last-minute shopping strangers into the wee hours of the morning was not her thing. In fact, she was starting to get ticked off at all the snappy customers who wanted coffee at God-awful hours, plus, that stupid Santa hat she had to wear during the holiday season was too big and kept flopping in her face. Nothing was more annoying than shoving a white fluffy ball out of her face every three-seconds. So, when she finally got to leave after a long day at work, she was not surprised that her bad day got worse when she hit a deer on her drive home. She was about ready to cry when her car wouldn't start and the poor deer just laid there whimpering at her. She just wanted to make it home but with her luck, she wouldn't get home in time for Christmas with her family.
