Nine Lives

I was flipping out beyond belief.
How was I going to tell him?
“Hey Kellin, I’d just like to let you know that that kid isn’t yours and, oh yeah, my brother is Death, leader of The Underworld.”
It’s not exactly table talk.
“Fuck.” I breathed letting my head fall in my hands.
“You’ve really fucked it up this time, Vic.” I said to myself. Just then my phone rang.
“Hello?” I answered without checking the I.D.
“Vic?”
“Kellin, Hi.” I said, honestly surprised.
“Hi uhm-Austin said I should call you but I do-“
“No. I mean, yes. I-I do need to talk to you, but in person. C-Can you come over?”
“Sure. I’ll be there around six?”
“Perfect.”
Now it was the waiting game.
