“I’ve got everything in hand.” I spoke into my phone speaker.
“Hey, just because I’m your brother doesn’t me-“I sighed clutching the device “Yes I know-I know it’s my fault. You’re right.”
I shut my eyes tight “He’s been informed.”
‘Good’ was the last thing my brother said before hanging up.
I listened to the dead line a beat longer than any normal human would before ending the call on my side. He was right though; it was my fault. If it wasn’t for me our parents would still be around and he wouldn’t have died. Maybe we would never have become this…
